24 million russians died because Stalin wouldn’t accept the realities on the ground. He traded lives for land in a war he helped start. He was a butcher. In WW2 there were the Nazis, but also the russonazis. This is a fact.

The Berlin Wall fell for a reason. It would be foolish to consider trying to rebuild it - and all it represents - today.

What a comedian my man is. The things the soviets brought to half of Europe after WW2 was occupation, hunger, oppression and lack of basic freedoms. And that's just the top of the list, there are whole books about this lmao

Motherfuckers made alliance with Hitler, started WW2 together, then could not get along and fought one another. For most ppl Communist occupation turned worse than the Nazi one. By the way ppl in then Yugoslavia, where you are from understood this perfectly back in 1945.

🙏 Leaflets with the inscriptions "finish eating soy and beans, prepare coffins" were scattered by the Germans across besieged Leningrad, said Tatyana Popova, who survived the siege. One of the most tragic chapters in history is remembered today in Saint Petersburg — 84 years ago the siege of the city began. "I looked out the window, the sky was all gray, trains were being bombed. They knew there were people there... We went through the garbage dumps. A German was throwing leaflets saying 'Finish eating soy and beans, prepare coffins'," shared a resident of besieged Leningrad with "Zvezda" A solemn mourning ceremony took place at the Piskaryovskoye Memorial Cemetery, where more than half a million people rest. Flowers were laid at the monument by Governor Alexander Beglov, Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Alexander Moiseyev, the command of the Leningrad Military District, participants of the special military operation, and residents of besieged Leningrad. The Germans encircled Leningrad on September 8, 1941. The siege lasted 872 days — on January 27, 1944, the city was completely liberated. Source: Zvezda ➖➖➖ My school teacher in history and philosophy was a child of the Blockade. She was lucky enough to be evacuated, still, that left a mark on her forever. My stepdad's friend's mother was surviver of the Blockade. Every day she went to the pharmacy to get portion of medicines. Not because she was ill, she was terribly afraid that if something happens, there would be no pills. And, of course, stockpiles of bread... My grandma's friend's family moved from Sevastopol to Leningrad. There they were given the apartment where everything was left intact.. Even books of previous owners. We will never forget this Siege, and in October 2022 , the St. Petersburg City Court recognized the actions of the Nazis during the siege of Leningrad as a war crime and genocide of the Soviet people . The materials collected by the city prosecutor's office allow us to judge that the number of victims of the siege was at least 1,093,842 people. The damage caused by the Nazis and their accomplices to Leningrad and its residents is estimated at 35.3 trillion rubles (approx. 429 155 079 USD) at the current exchange rate, the prosecutor's office calculated. And after that someone really thinks that Russia will give up? We remember perfectly well, what civilized neighbors did. Translated by:
