Stop Duffing Your Wedges !! If you try and apply what you do in the long game to a 50-yard pitch shot you are in trouble. When it comes to this yardage and under it’s about finesse We need a different motion to tap into our feel. If you are patient with the transition, allowing your arms to drop this will not only help you soften things up and feel more but it will also help you use the leading edge and bounce through the turf. I had to do this of course - test out the new Google Omni Flash model with my favorite 3d art sandbox - Dreams. Just a quick test for now.. I'll be sharing more examples and techniques soon but wanted to show you this one. There's something very fitting about combining "handmade" 3d models and animations sculpted from scratch in software that runs on 2013 hardware, with some of the most advanced AI technology in the world. As part of my work for Google, I've used Google V2V models on a few different projects now - Ancestra, Dear Upstairs Neighbors and most recently one of the IO films (I'll share more about that project soon) 🥰 - and video continues to be my favorite form of input for Generative Ai workflows. If an image says more than a thousand words, a video says more than a million. And knowing that these capabilities are now in the hands of all of you, makes me very excited to see the new workflows and projects that will come out of it. What do you think of Omni so far?

We still had some audio issues going on, but this was one of my favorite points during the development of GTA3 for the Sega #Dreamcast... This was the first time when graphically we were able to say that we were not simply a downgrade of the PC and PS2 versions, and you could clearly see the dynamic lighting and specular environment mapping in full glory on the DC, thanks to the absolute SH4 wizardry of Stefanos Kornilios Mitsis Poiitidis, which we will be getting into shortly!

Earlier this week at GTC, we announced our partnership with Nvidia. We will work with Nvidia to build strong, American open-source models that are at the frontier of scientific reasoning. These models will be essential for the US to compete with China on science in the coming decades. Jensen is committing to spend tens of billions of dollars developing open-source models, and we are excited to be a partner with them in figuring out how to benchmark, train and use those agents to accelerate scientific research. We have already open-sourced some of the work we have done with them, and are looking forward to open-sourcing more. There are few things today that are more important. And the fact that Luka fan Dak Prescott wanted to be a part of it to was mind-blowing. It will be an epic event, it just won’t happen tomorrow. In light of the Luka injury in Thursday night’s game, we will have to postpone for now. Luka’s health takes priority over everything else. Muster all your vibes and fan energy into supporting one of your all-time favorite players. We hope to be back to you soon with more info on what’s happening next. In the interim, let’s toast great players like Luka and Dak who enrich our lives with their tremendous efforts on the courts, fields, and in our communities. As we wrap up the testing of the demo version, we’d like to summarize the results. Despite numerous difficulties with server access and a multitude of bugs present in this demo, we want to highlight the following: we are satisfied with the results we’ve achieved and, most importantly, we are truly impressed by you — our community. Thousands of dedicated individuals supported us with their feedback and bug reports. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to identify and prepare fixes for a wide range of issues in PIONER — problems we wouldn’t have been able to find on our own. We’re already making meaningful improvements in these areas, which you can read more about in the full article: We’re definitely aiming to make the game world more vibrant and impressive, and your support has given us the opportunity to turn PIONER into a great adventure. And we will seize that opportunity. We will continue testing — both large-scale and limited. To conclude, we’d like to share a video. In this clip, we’re showing the “Mainland” for the very first time. The Mainland is the most familiar open world in PIONER, and it’s the first to receive updated lighting and a full day-night cycle. This location is a living example of how we’re addressing visual shortcomings.
