That cannot hurt Russia much. If they dont sell gas or oil to EU, they will sell it elsewhere. It's a commodity that has no expering date. EU buys Russian oil through proxy countrys like India but they won"t addmit it.

Largest Gas reserves in the world and cheaper than any the EU can and does buy elsewhere. Nothing like cutting off your nose to spite your face.
