This is FALSE. There are may other options beyond building on expensive, unserviced GREENBELT land. The bottleneck is LABOUR, and FINANCING COSTS. Not beautiful, irreplaceable greenbelt land.

You forgot to mention seniors and the middle aged... guess they don't need affordable housing?😉 You do realize that if there was a stay on mass immigration that you might be able to see the forest through the trees and get some sensible, logical solutions on the go right? Why are we in such a housing crisis? How did we get to this point? what are you going to do about the bidding wars?, shouldn't there be a cap on the bids, shouldn't there be a cap on the amount of commission an agent can earn? There are other solutions to the housing crisis besides tearing up the greenbelt to build more houses... but, hey, what do we know... ???

If that were true you would be building rentals and social housing. Most of us can't afford the big houses your friends are building away from schools, community centres etc.
