GEMINI 3 LAUNCH IS HERE I got a SNEAK PEEK at Gemini 3 with Logan Kilpatrick (Google Deepmind), and it might be the most POWERFUL vibe-coding tool on the planet. A little breakdown: 1. Anyone can build 3D and casual games now You can vibecode full, playable 3D video games generated in minutes. Actual games with physics, characters, controls, and loops you can remix instantly. Pure insanity. I can see founders and brands spinning up games on the fly to ride trends and drive growth. 2. Intelligent apps are becoming the default We built apps where reasoning, memory, and multi-step planning were baked in from the start. Once you’re building apps with ACTUAL intelligence baked in, there’s a whole wave of new opportunities that weren’t possible before. 3. Gemini acts like a creative partner You describe the idea, Gemini fills in the gaps, challenges decisions, proposes alternatives, and iterates in real time. 4. Vibe coding hits a new level Gemini 3 can generate assets, code, game logic, UI, and narrative in one flow. Tools like Claude and Cursor feel fast. This feels like the next layer, the one where a single builder can compete with full teams. Logan Kilpatrick and I pushed Google Gemini 3 hard, and the outputs were solid. ✨ To inspire more people to go build something now that we have AI to help us (especially non-tech people, cause I still know so many who are scared of building something): I added a [ BUILD IT ] button to It's like a mini-Lovable/Replit/v0: Any idea you see you like, you can click [ BUILD IT ], and it will use Opus 4.6 to build a landing page for it And then you can download the code it generated It's not a full startup of course, but a nice preview of what it can be, to give you an idea and inspire you to build it out further The code is live streamed also so you can see it being built 😊 Ironically this itself took me 1 hour to build with AI too Completely free and I pay for the tokens (please don't abuse it :D)

I've been building a "front page" for Toad (my terminal UI for agentic coding). This will the first page the user will see if they run "toad" from the command line without additional arguments. For here they can browse / search for agents and install directly from the command line. There are 10 agent supported so far, with more being added all the time. I also see this is a place to install other more specialized AI tools in addition to agentic coding. Check out the video! #toad #AI

"Vibe coding" refers to a growing practice where you might barely look at the generated code, and instead focus on the architecture and features of your application. However, contrary to popular belief, effectively coding this way isn't done by just prompting, accepting all recommendations, and hoping for the best. It requires structuring your work, refining your prompts, and having a systematic process that lead to a more efficient and effective workflow. I code frequently using LLMs, and asking an LLM to do everything in one shot usually does not work. I'll typically take a problem, partition it into manageable modules, spend time creating prompts to specify each module, and use the model to produce the code one module at a time, and test/debug each module before moving on. A process like this is making me and many other developers faster and more efficient. In this video-only course, you’ll learn how to use Replit’s cloud environment--with an integrated code editor, package manager, and deployment tools--to build and deploy web applications. Along the way, you’ll learn strategies for working effectively with agents and improve your development skills.
