He said he will use a drone against any large “enemy target” if ethnic so called Amharas are that large target let it be it. He’s right the minute you raised arms against any government you become target of war regardless of the weapon type, I wouldn’t chose the kind of weapon I will use against any threat posing enemy.

One of my favorite news anchors Palki Sharma sums up perplexing actions of Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed in this piece on Vantage detailing his record of war and turmoil since ascension to power a mere 5 years ago. Continuous war and bloodshed Destruction of 3 regions in the north Famine (both man made and related to drought) Forced Displacement and ethnic cleansing Economic Turmoil and rising inflation Sustaining a governance system without checks and balances Corruption and aid embezzlement Poor diplomacy with neighbors Apartheid rule and rise of ethnic hegemony Massive human rights violations ..are just some of the achievements of Abiy Ahmeds government which boasted of bringing systemic change, equal representation and prosperity to the nation. And Palki remarks that Abiy Ahmed forgot the cardinal rule that "war is bad for business" and asks when the appropriate time is to rescind the honorable title of Nobel Price Laureate. It has been 3 years since the brutal and targeted massacre of Amhara's in the town of Mai Kadra in Welkait, Gondar. On Nov 9th and 10th of 2020, Tigrayan armed militia and a kill squad called the Samri youth group attacked Kebele 1, a settlement quarter housing primarily Amhara residents of Mai Kadra. 3 years later there has been no justice and accountability for these victims and their surviving families. 3 years later the people that ordered the massacre have signed a "peace deal" and resumed office. 3 years later not only have the people who waged the ethnic cleansing of Amharas from this region in northern Gondar not faced justice, but they have made the counter claim that the victims were Tigrayan and the villains were Amhara forces. 3 years later the documented names of the actual victims still remains as evidence of #AmharaGenocide (Look Below) 3 years later a full fledged war on the Amhara people of Ethiopia has been waged by the Federal government and the people are fighting a war for survival from further elimination 3 years later, the truth remains ignored by mainstream media, the international community and human rights agencies. But the survivors have told their stories. We have documented their accounts, identified the victims (thanks to the University of Gondar) and we continue to advocate for 1.
