The occupiers have not gone a single day without launching UAVs against both the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the civilian population. In April, the air defense assets of First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine destroyed the following: 🔹Fixed-wing strike UAVs: 3,585; 🔹Fixed-wing reconnaissance UAVs: 156; 🔹Rotary-wing strike UAVs: 416; 🔹Rotary-wing reconnaissance UAVs: 114. The video features April combat results of FPV interceptor pilots from the air defense units of First Corps Azov of the National Guard of Ukraine. Thousands of drones never reached Ukrainian positions or the homes of civilians, thanks to the coordinated work of air defense and electronic warfare assets that detect and destroy aerial targets before they can strike.

Almost every night, our defenders of the sky are working to repel Russian attacks. Together with electronic warfare units, army aviation, and mobile fire groups, the results of interceptor drones are already significantly increasing – more than 150 since the beginning of the month already, including shootdowns tonight. And there will be more. We will definitely continue to develop interceptor drone technology and train crews. The Ministry of Defense is contracting all available production capacity for interceptors. We are working on closer cooperation with partners – joint production and financing will let us scale this up faster. Thank you to everyone advancing this effort.

We are strengthening all areas of protection. There is already a decision regarding the protection of the city of Dnipro. The military command and the Ministry of Defense analyze each attack and offer solutions. For Dnipro, we will deploy additional radars, electronic warfare systems, and crews. There is also a solution for Odesa. We are also registering a higher percentage of shootdowns. But we still need to increase it. We are aware that the Russians are trying to bypass our air defense with the density of the attack and the intensity of strikes. We will counteract, but we are aware that we cannot stop there. This is not the result that is needed. Still not enough. We need to further strengthen our cities and villages.
