We will never see something as hype as this in a Super Smash Bros. game ever again

Subspace with Ultimates roster (dlc included) would have been Infinity War levels of crazy.

It would've been the sickest video game adventure mode of all time

sonic 1 tapping taboo and being revealed to be a fighter is still the greatest smash announcement to me ever that shit was so hard

Tabuu himself was so sick too like I remember as a kid just watching Ganondorf and Bowser work together only for Ganondorf to betray him and then you get this crazy fight boss fight with Tabuu where he has wings and the music is going crazy like damn, one of the best memories

Could u imagine the kinda movie Sakurai could make now with all the characters we have in Ultimate.

Literally man. Isabelle and Snake interacting or Ryu and Terry rivalry, like there was endless potential for memorable moments with those characters and it's a shame we'll never get to see those types of interactions

That World of Light trailer comes close to this. But it’s a shame that they didn’t do much else beyond that 🙃

Honestly I loved World of Light,I just didn't like there weren't any hype cutscenes after the intro. If they structured it more to have spirit battles as the combat but you travel around the map freeing fighters and then having cutscenes with them interacting & going after Galeem & Dharkon it would've been peak asf

Really sad that subspace didn't come back for Ultimate, with all the characters in that game it would've been so cool
