We won the OpenAI prize + Audience Choice amongst 300+ hackers Scale AI⚡️ Introducing ENABLE, the future of prosthetics combining soft robotics, 3d printing, and AI 🦾 Our model takes a prompt (“I want to hold a cup 🍵) and converts it into a 3d printable prosthetic!

Built alongside @EthanJagoda and @aaditya_pore, we utilise GAN-based synthetic data augmentation and fine tuning to generate equations that correspond to an STL file for pneumatic actuators. These actuators utilise pressurised air to actuate, enabling movements such as grabbing a cup, pushing a button, playing a guitar etc. This brings down the cost of prosthetics from $50,000+ to less than $50, bringing accessibility and independence to those who need it the most!
