FLASH: Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu today made a stop at Ikotun Junction and spoke with the Residents and Traders at Ikotun Junction on the State’s plan to improve and put a permanent solution to the traffic issues around there by building a flyover for the axis. Mr Governor highlighted issues around congestion, garage, market issues and others, which will be resolved together when building the flyover. Bangalore was not built for such a huge population and a large number of vehicles... We don't have an infrastructure for that. In order to address traffic congestion issues for people travelling towards Gulistan e Johar and also an alternate to Natha Khan bridge, KMC is working on an alternate route which I visited along with the KMC engineering team. KMC intends to have the matter approved soon & start work. We are also going to take up work on reconstructing the Pehalwan Goth Road from Safoora towards Habib University which will be a long term solution for the people who are currently facing a lot of difficulties #KarachiWorks
