Dujon Sterling, in this goal, made a lot of similar missteps to the Motherwell goal last season: > Decision-Making to Jump Early > Late to Identify Real Risk > Fernandez Press & Back-4 Can't Narrow > Recovery Run is Not Quick Enough My main concern is this is very basic defensive principles, it is nothing that every coach won't demand & it's lapses in concentration/desire that we have seen season on season. Players are now facing an issue that this is a Manager we all wanted and now responsibility will sit with them majorly.

I don’t think anyone realizes the kind of sinking feeling that every player goes through when being eliminated, regardless of when it happens - it really feels like you’ve been hit by a truck and in that moment nothing else matters. All of them are there to win, EACH AND EVERY ONE, they’ve put aside their entire lives and made what happens in those rounds and maps that you see on stage their entire career. It determines their entire future and that is both a Privilage but also immense pressure. Every single player and coach and org is there to win, I see it day in and day out, behind the scenes and on stage. Everyone is putting in so much effort - and I’m really really proud of how much my boys have been pushing themselves 🫡 Seeing how they’ve played on stage and off stage I can now certifiably say, regardless of the results these 5 boys are so good and we’re going to show it and show up in the rest of the season ❤️ #GEFighting
