🔥 CONVICTION 2026 – DAY 1 RECAP The first day of Conviction 2026 has officially come to a close — and “exciting” may not even begin to capture everything that happened today. From the main stage to every experience zone, Conviction truly became a place where policy, technology, businesses, and communities came together. A day of major milestones 📍 Conviction 2026 was honored to welcome the Deputy Prime Minister, leaders from ministries and government agencies, and the Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee, who joined us, delivered keynote remarks, and took part in the official opening ceremony, marking the beginning of a national-scale technology event. On stage, important discussions explored regulatory frameworks and development policies for Blockchain & digital assets, tokenization, stablecoins, AI Agents, and the future of the digital economy, bringing together policymakers, experts, and leading industry voices. Day 1 was also marked by significant milestones in collaboration, including the signing ceremony between Ninety Eight and Chống Lừa Đảo, aimed at building a safer digital environment, as well as the signing ceremony between EIC and Busan Techno Park, continuing the longstanding sister-city relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and Busan and opening new opportunities for a digital corridor between the two cities. And of course, Conviction was about much more than conversations on stage! HNGLE brought the crowd an emotional musical break with three hit songs, “Buông,” “Không Buông,” and “Tìm Em”, while Hoàng Dũng, the artist behind “Nàng Thơ,” also joined fans for an exciting meet-and-greet at the FANOS booth. The exhibition area was just as lively, with bustling tech booths, engaging minigames, and plenty of exciting prizes. What did you manage to win today? Share your haul in the comments! And congratulations to all the lucky participants who became the first winners of some incredible tech prizes from today’s Lucky Draw! But Conviction 2026 isn’t over yet! Day 2 will take us deeper into AI, technology, and the future of enterprise applications, featuring real-world case studies, practical implementation challenges, and solutions that can be applied directly to business operations and organizational growth. These are definitely sessions you won’t want to miss. See you tomorrow as we explore practical applications and the latest technology trends together! I guess this is where we are now. 😂 This dude ran to social media to cry to y’all like a girl. Bitch shit. I watched about 20 seconds of this video, so I don’t even know what all was said. But here is what I will address. 1) I didn’t come to John and say ‘I’m broke dude!’ I have the screenshot. I said ‘our processor is down. Wanna talk business?’ That’s it. 2) John white labeled me into his already white labeled company. This cost John a measley $1500. He launched three products for me. Bro. Three. I went from a website with 50-100 rotating products to fucking three. A melatonin gummy, a D8 gummy, and a fucking CBD roll on. Crazy that we weren’t just slam dunking all over the industry, right? 3) I have 5 daughters that I actually raise. Two of whom were abandoned at birth. One that’s autistic. I have real life responsibilities. YOU abandoned YOUR kids. 👈🏻 I’m sure my sales would’ve been phenomenal if I could sit around and LARP as Lt. Col. Frank Slade and play with goats all day instead of raise my children. You can win at many things in life, John. You can be the most successful person on the planet. You can shit on me in so many ways, brother. But you’ll never be a FATHER. You failed at the MOST IMPORTANT thing on the planet. The only thing that matters. And I pity you for it. You are an empty sad man. So enjoy your Tesla. Your motorcycles. Your late night dinners, dancing, and traveling the world kid free. I’m over here watching Moana 2 for the 13th time today and eating peach cobbler with my toddlers. like a man. Deuces ✌🏻

PART 1: Bret Baier interview with Elon Musk and DOGE breakdown: - The goal is to reduce the Federal Deficit by $1 trillion dollars - Reduce the spending by 15% by eliminating waste and fraud - 15% reduction can be done without affecting any of the critical government services - Timeframe to reduce the federal deficit by $1 trillion dollars is 130 days - The sheer amount of waste and fraud in the government. It is astonishing. It's mind blowing. “We routinely encounter wastes of a billion dollars or more, casually” - The Government paid $1 billion dollars for a “simple survey” that should close no more than $10k. “A billion dollars for a simple online survey, do you like the national park? And then there appeared to be no feedback loop for what would be done with that survey. So the survey would just go into nothing” Real breakdown: ““We are cutting the waste and fraud in real time. So every day that passes, our goal is to reduce the waste and fraud by $4 billion a day every day, 7 days a week. And SO FAR WE ARE SUCCEEDING.” That’s $1.4 TRILLION DOLLARS PER YEAR in savings by DOGE” - DOGE does make mistakes, we correct them quickly, and we move on - DOGE has a rocket scientist as part of the team - Without DOGE the country would go bankrupt - Minimum target of DOGE seems to be around $1 billion dollars but they do take on smaller amounts - All cuts by DOGE are put on the DOGE website for maximum transparency - Congress has a duty to address fraud and wasteful spending, they haven’t been doing that. “We try to keep Congress as informed as possible, The law does say that money needs to be spent correctly. It should not be spent fraudulently or wastefully” - DOGE has “seen actually great support, at least from the Republican side of the House” - Democrats “say what we're doing is somehow unconstitutional or not legal” (Democrats want to keep the fraud spending) - Government documents will be digitized - The current paper system is so inefficient only 8,000 government employees can be retired per month. Backlog of 6-9 months processing time - Many processes in government look like they haven’t changed or been updated since the 1950’s Social Security: Elon Musk is not trying to eliminate Social Security, “2 improvements that we're trying to make to Social Security are: - Helping people that legitimately get benefits, protect them from fraud that they experience every day on a routine basis, - Make the experience better” “They get phone calls every day of people trying to change direct deposit information. So when you want to change your bank account, you can call Social Security. We learned 40% of the phone calls that they get are from fraudsters.” - Nearly half of all Social Security calls are fraud - Updates to the Social Security website are coming, “The Social Security Administration website crashed four times in 10 days this month because the servers were overloaded, blocking millions of retirees and disabled veterans from logging into their online accounts.” This will be fixed - There are over 15 million people that are over the age of 120 that are marked as alive -This 15 million is a lot of fraud, “There’s no way to use those for good intentions. So one of the things the DOJ team is doing is carefully and very methodically looking at those and making sure that any fraudulent ones are eliminated.” HHS, Medicare, Medicaid and NIH - HHS: Making sure we continue to have the best biomedical research in the world - Making sure, which President Trump has said over and over again, that we 100% protect Medicare and Medicaid New NIH Policy Proposal: “NIH as an example, today, if you're a NIH researcher and you get $100 grant at your university, today you get to spend 60% of that and your university spends 40% of that. The policy that we're proposing to make is that you get to spend 85% of that and your university spends 15% So that's more money going directly to the scientists who are discovering new cures.

10 years ago, Tim Ferriss walked into Google & revealed exactly how to cage the monkey mind that is destroying your life every passing day: 1. The real training is in the small embarrassments. We do not rise to the level of our hopes. We fall to the level of our training. If you cannot handle small moments of public embarrassment you will not have the backbone to make big decisions under real pressure. 2. Seneca practiced poverty once a month. He would wear rough clothing, eat the simplest food, and ask himself is this the condition I so feared. Tim does one three day water fast every month and one seven to ten day fast every quarter for the same reason. Once you know the worst case is survivable you stop fearing it. 3. The monkey mind is not a dialogue. It is a stern and irritating roommate in your head that never shuts up. The morning journal is not about producing writing. It is about giving that roommate a two dimensional prison so it stops playing on repeat for the rest of the day. 4. The Five Minute Journal takes two and a half minutes in the morning and two and a half at night. The morning portion is a gratitude and planning exercise. The evening portion is a performance review. The ROI on those five minutes is higher than almost anything else Tim does. 5. Depression is an obsession with the past. Anxiety is an obsession with the future. High achievers almost always skew toward anxious future focus. Without a deliberate gratitude practice they hit goal after goal and feel nothing because they are already racing toward the next one. 6. The single biggest difference between the top quartile of performers and the top one percent is the degree to which they can identify their goals and maintain focus on them. Everything else is secondary to that one thing. 7. Humility does not require willpower. It requires designing the right environment. Every day Tim tries to be the weakest person in the room at something. At 15 in Japan he thought he was a judo star until a guy forty pounds lighter destroyed him in seven seconds. Then he trained at a school that produced Olympic gold medalists and got demolished by twelve year olds for months. He came out the other end completely transformed. 8. More than eighty percent of the world class performers Tim has interviewed across every field have a daily meditation practice. Some do not call it meditation but they all have something that functions the same way. Amelia Boone, the greatest female obstacle racer alive, sings the same song to herself on loop for hours. Arnold Schwarzenegger did transcendental meditation for a year and said the benefits persisted for decades after he stopped. 9. A high percentage of the successful men Tim has interviewed over fifty skip breakfast entirely. Pavel Tsatsouline, the man who brought kettlebells to America, answered what did you have for breakfast with a single word. Coffee. 10. What matters is not having a specific routine. It is having a routine. Whatever it is. The goal is to preserve your decision making and creativity for the things that actually require them. Steve Jobs wore the same thing every day. That was not a fashion choice. It was an energy allocation strategy. 11. Tim treats his entire life as two week experiments and six month projects. A reliable five year plan almost by definition requires you to set goals below your current capabilities. He is unwilling to do that so he does not plan that way. 12. The most successful people he has interviewed are not naive optimists. They budget for the downside. Richard Branson's real skill is figuring out the maximum he can lose and the maximum time he can lose before committing to anything. Once you realize the worst case is reversible the risk disappears. 13. The podcast succeeded because Tim knew he had a guaranteed audience of one. He was building something he could not find anywhere else. Every book came from the same place. When designing for a market things fail. When solving his own problem things work. 14. He committed to doing six podcast episodes before deciding whether to continue. If you only do one you will quit. The learning curve does not hockey stick until at least six. The survival of the project depended entirely on that pre-commitment. 15. Email is not a priority system it is other people's priority system for your time. Tim batches email offline so he is not doing whack-a-mole where sending two emails generates five back. He also uses if-then lines in every email he sends. It takes thirty extra seconds and eliminates twenty rounds of back and forth. 16. Never attribute to malice what you can attribute to incompetence or busyness. Holding a grudge about someone not replying means you are carrying imaginary shrapnel like acid in a vessel. You are the only one harmed by it. 17. For longevity Tim does regular extended fasting to purge precancerous cells combined with hyperbaric oxygen at two and a half atmospheres three times a week. By forty almost everyone has precancerous cells. The goal is not uncontrolled growth and fasting addresses the metabolic conditions that allow that. 18. For insomnia the two things that helped him most were morning meditation to quiet the machinery before the day starts and reading fiction before bed to shift from problem solving mode into story consuming mode. The monkey mind cannot solve problems it does not know it is supposed to be solving. Follow Yasmine Khosrowshahi for more ideas on thinking better, becoming clearer & building a more intentional life.

Episode #434 How Sam Walton Worked 0:00 — "To him, making money was only a game, a test of his imagination and expertise to see how far he could drive a business concept." 1:35 — "Sam's idea was absurdly simple: buy cheap, sell low, every day, and while doing it with a smile." 2:15 — "If he adopts a business course that doesn't work out, he's neither too vain nor too blind to see his mistake, to say so, and to change his heading one hundred and eighty degrees." 3:34 — "The secret is work, work, work. I taught the boys how to do it." — Sam's father 4:34 — "Sam Walton plunged into this new world of merchandising with the keen and furious dedication of a quarterback who was one touchdown behind with two minutes to go." 5:55 — "Boys, you know we don't make a dime out of the merchandise we sell. We only make our profit out of the paper and string that we save." — J.C. Penney 11:10 — "No, I'm not whipped. I found Newport, and I found the store. I can find another good town and another Ben Franklin. Just wait and see." — Sam Walton, after losing his first store 11:35 — "I insist on buying the building that the store is in. I need control over my own destiny." — Sam Walton, arriving in Bentonville 11:45 — "My store will be number one. It's important for me to be the best. Not one of the best. I must be the best. I want to be the leader in the category I compete in." — Sam Walton 13:05 — "Sometimes hardship can enlighten and inspire." 13:15 — "That same boredom and frustration triggered ideas that eventually bought him billions of dollars." 18:55 — "Many of our best opportunities were created out of necessity, the things that we were forced to learn and do because we started out under financed and under capitalized." — Sam Walton 19:30 — "If they had something good, we copied it." — Sam Walton 24:35 — "This is just part of the education process. I'm still learning." — Sam Walton, on his hands and knees examining a competitor's display 25:00 — "You can make a lot of different mistakes and still recover if you run an efficient operation, or you can be brilliant and still go out of business if you're too inefficient." — Sam Walton 30:55 — "Remember Walmart's golden rule. Number one, the customer is always right. Number two, if the customer isn't right, refer to rule number one." — Sam Walton 31:35 — "Move from Bentonville? That would be the last thing we'd do unless they run us out of here. The best thing we ever did was to hide back there in the hills and eventually build a company that makes folks want to find us." — Sam Walton 32:05 — "I had no vision of the scope of what I would start, but I always had confidence that as long as we did our work well and were good to our customers, there would be no limit to us." — Sam Walton 32:55 — "He also had a very interesting competitive strategy in the early days. He was like a prizefighter who wanted a great record so he could be in the finals. So what did he do? He went out and fought 42 palookas. And the result was knockout, knockout, knockout—42 times. Walton, being as shrewd as he was, basically broke other small-town merchants in the early days. With his more efficient system, he might not have been able to tackle some titan head-on at the time. But with his better system, he could sure as hell destroy those small-town merchants. And he went around doing it time after time after time. Then, as he got bigger, he started destroying the big boys. Well, that was a very, very shrewd strategy. It’s an interesting model of how the scale of things and fanaticism combine to be very powerful." — Charlie Munger on Sam Walton's strategy 37:30 — "We have a low resistance to change. We call it our RC factor." — Sam Walton 39:45 — "Control your expenses better than your competition. This is where you can always find your competitive advantage. We rank number one in our industry for the lowest ratio of expenses to sales." — Sam Walton 48:20 — The day the market dropped 500 points and knocked a billion dollars off the value of his stock holdings in Walmart, reporters asked Sam what his reaction to the disaster on Wall Street was. He hadn't heard about it.

NEW on We The Builders: Mike Solana (Mike Solana) of Founders Fund (Founders Fund) and Pirate Wires (Pirate Wires) on Creating Celebrity Mafia featuring Tech Elite. The first season cast: Sam Altman (Sam Altman), Ryan Peterson (Ryan Petersen), Josie Zyner (Josie Zayner), Dylan Field (Dylan Field), Cyan Bannister (Cyan Banister), Palmer Luckey (Palmer Luckey), Ryan Beiermeister (Ryan Beiermeister), Tim Urban (Tim Urban), Bryan Johnson (Bryan Johnson), Moxie Marlinspike (Moxie Marlinspike), Trae Stephens (Trae Stephens), Liv Boeree (Liv Boeree) Marketing and media teams in technology and venture seem to be in this competition of capturing attention of the right people. The consensus strategy is covering entrepreneurs and investors on a podcast. All that has its own place but you don’t create cultural institutions or artifacts while following consensus strategies. I often think about how few cultural institutions get built that matter. They are usually decades in the making and when they arrive, they are timeless and etched in memory. Think about Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of Rings franchises that people are still culturally relevant decades on. How would one do that in the world of technology and venture capital? In recent memory, Mike has produced at least two cultural artifacts, HERETICON which was a conference for what was described as thought crime and now the show Mafia featuring celebrities in tech and venture that took over the Twitter/X timeline when it launched with millions of views and all of tech elite engaged. Everyone I met was talking about it for at least a month after and you can always rewatch it as a good holiday watch like you would replay your favorite TV show. I asked him about the making of Mafia, whether he will transition to player from moderator, how he thinks about creating these unique new cultural artifacts and what’s next (if it happens, it will be the wildest show of all time). This is a special edition of our show recorded at Reindustrialize (REINDUSTRIALIZE SUMMIT). Special thank you to our friends Falon Donohue, Austin Patrick Bishop and Aaron Slodov for hosting us! Dr. Mahrang's latest statement::: I am #MahrangBaloch. Now, I am addressing all of you from Islamabad, Pakistan. I hope you are in any part of the world at this time, and if you are a humanitarian person, then you will listen to our voice, and you will raise your voice against the Baloch Genocide and help us. Baloch genocide has been going on for decades in Balochistan, in which thousands of our elders, youth, children and women have forcibly disappeared, our people are being extra-judicially killed, and our people are being forcefully displaced from their hometowns. Military operations are being carried out in our areas, our resources are being looted, and this Genocide of our nation is intensifying day by day. Against this severe Baloch genocide, we held a peaceful sit-in for 13 days in Turbat Balochistan, and after 13 days, we started a peaceful long march which started from Turbat and traveled hundreds of kilometers to Islamabad, has reached the capital of Pakistan. Today is the 32th day of our mass movement against the Baloch genocide, but in this whole mass movement, from the sit-in to the long march all over Balochistan, the State has used extreme force to stop and end the movement; false FIRs were registered against our people, our friends were subjected to physical violence, our friends were arrested, and when we were faced of all these violence and conspiracies and when we reached Islamabad then we were stopped from going to the Islamabad Press Club and after being stopped for three to four hours, the Islamabad police started torturing us. We were accompanied by small children, women, elderly and young people. All of them were subjected to severe torture; water cans and tear gas were used on us during the night in extreme cold, injuring many of our innocent children, women, elderly and youth. And after we were all arrested, there were about 80 women and children, and more than 200 were our youth. After releasing the women and children last night, an attempt was made to evict them from Islamabad forcefully, but we resisted for 7 to 8 hours, and then we were released. Still, more than 100 of our friends are in the custody of Islamabad police and are not being produced in court, while 14 of our friends have forcibly disappeared, and we are not being given any information about them, nor are we getting any information about them. We need help from the whole world right now. You, as a human being, can stop the genocide of a nation by helping us; if you want another holocaust not to happen, then you have to stop the genocide of the Baloch nation by helping us. You can help us in this way. 1- You can write a letter to the UN working group about our genocide. 2- You can inform the human rights institutions of your country or any other country in the world about the Baloch genocide. 3. You can raise your voice for us in your country's parliament. 4. You can inform the journalists and media houses of your country about us. 5. As a journalist, you can inform the world about the Baloch Genocide. 6. If you are a researcher, you can research our mass movement and our genocide. 7. You can protest for us in your city. 8. You can hold political debates all over the world on the Baloch Genocide. 9- You can file an online petition for us. 10- You can campaign for us on social media. We hope you can understand our pain and fulfill your humanitarian duty by helping us. #MarchAgainstBalochGenocide #StopBalochGenocide

Hey folks, I've been recently talking a lot about why we're adding different styles of play into No Rest for the Wicked and I wanted to prove my theory that that would result in players having more fun, so, long story short... I turned Quake 1 into a Roguelite! 😂 Here's what that means: 1) Roguelite-inspired Run Structure: You start with limited stats in a hub map and are greeted by actual NPCs, then fight through sequential arena rooms across 4 biomes, each ending with a boss fight. 2) 40+ boons across 5 categories: Damage, Movement, Defense, Utility and Risk. And these also come with Rarities: Common, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. After clearing a room, you pick from 3 random boon offerings. 3) Permanent Meta: Death sends you back to the hub with you retaining the 'essence' currency you collected by killing mobs. Then you spend it at NPCs: The Gatekeeper starts runs, the Wraith upgrades your arsenal (ammo capacity, starting weapons, weapon damage), and The Shaper sells permanent stat upgrades (max HP, armor, boon capacity, rerolls) 4) Difficulty Scaling: Enemy health and damage ramp up as you push deeper. 5) Damage Numbers: Floating combat text and floating healthbars for good measure, so you can understand how much stronger you become over time. All just built on top of unmodified Quake 1 maps and enemies - no new assets needed, it reuses the entire original campaign as roguelike content. To me, this is point proven: I think even hardcore Quake lovers back in the day would've spent a whole bunch of time playing a mode like this given that it'd allow you to experience the thing you love in a whole new light by crossing genres. If you're interested in seeing how this exercise turned out, here's a video for your viewing pleasure! :) I have to wonder what John Romero 🤘🏽 thinks about this given that he originally wanted to add more RPG elements into Quake!

This Chinese guy created agents in Claude Code for MCP servers and single-handedly serves 6 marketing agencies a month from one iPhone, earning $5,000 from each. Inside he runs a pipeline of 7 agents on Claude Sonnet 4.6 that every Monday pulls a scan of the tech stack from a selected agency, develops an MCP server for its ad accounts, and over the course of a week brings it to production code ready to connect to Claude Desktop. No DevOps, no senior developer, no project manager. Just a Mac Mini in a work corner, an iPhone in the pocket, and a single API key. And traditional dev shops keep 5 people on project rates for the same contract, while his entire P&L is tokens, dirt-cheap hosting on Cloudflare, and Calendly. 7 agents run under a shared orchestrator-router and burn about 5 million tokens a day, which in the API bill comes out to $540 a month. The Mac Mini itself sits at home and keeps the entire orchestrator running 24/7, and from the iPhone the owner connects to it through a secure remote terminal and sees the output of any session right on the smartphone screen, wherever he happens to be. His starting system prompt looks like this: "you run a solo shop for custom MCP servers for marketing agencies. you hand out read-only tasks to 6 sub-agents and own all commits and shipping yourself. sub-agents: // Hunter (finds marketing agencies of 15 to 60 people that have no MCP access to Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, and HubSpot) // Mapper (pulls their tech stack, identifies 3 to 5 integration pains, and simultaneously writes the technical spec for the server: which tools, resources, and prompts to export through MCP, which auth flow and rate limit) // Coder (generates an MCP server in Python through the MCP SDK, deploys 8 to 15 tools for ad accounts and CRM) // Validator (connects the server to Claude Desktop, runs real client API keys in a sandbox, and checks for compliance with the MCP spec) // Shipper (writes a README, integration guide, deployment manual, packages the server, and hosts it on Cloudflare Workers or pushes to the GitHub of the client) // Mobile (always online on the iPhone, books demo calls in Calendly, picks up hot fixes, and confirms contracts through a secure remote terminal to the Mac Mini). only 1 owner agent works on 1 contract, no overlaps. you pull the owner out of observation mode only when a deal goes above $7,500 or the test coverage of the server drops below 85%." This prompt gives the system an understanding of its role and the limits of intervention from the very first line. It knows it is supposed to find agencies on its own. It knows it is supposed to bring every MCP server to production on its own. It knows it connects the live owner only on large deals or when the tests do not converge. → The pipeline runs without breaks, day or night → Hunter goes through about 130 marketing agencies on LinkedIn and Clutch per day → Mapper rolls out 4 audit reports with the tech stack and a final spec for each → Coder writes 1 to 2 MCP servers per week in Python with 8 to 15 tools → Validator validates every server through Claude Desktop with real client API keys → Shipper rolls out the full documentation package and pushes the finished product to Cloudflare Workers or the GitHub of the client And only when a contract breaks $7,500 or test coverage drops below 85% does the orchestrator pull the owner from whatever he is doing. And when the owner at that moment is behind the wheel or at a meeting in a coworking space, the Mobile agent in his iPhone picks up 1 contract in progress: confirms a meeting with the agency CMO in Calendly, opens a live demo of the MCP server through a secure terminal to the Mac Mini, and writes the test result to the shared state. The owner just swipes "approve" and in 15 minutes joins the Zoom demo. The fresh system log from last Wednesday looks like this: "hunter report: 132 agencies checked on LinkedIn and Clutch, 19 without MCP integrations, 8 with active requests for AI tooling in job posts, 4 with an open Q4 budget. passing to mapper." "coder: MCP server for Northwave Performance Marketing built in Python, 11 tools for Google Ads, Meta Ads, and GA4, 320 lines of code. exported to /Users/dev/mcp-shop/clients/northwave/server.py. validator connecting to Claude Desktop." "validator: 11 tools passed validation through Claude Desktop, test coverage 92%, average latency 380 ms. passing to shipper." "eval flag: contract with Pacific Reach Agency at $8,200 exceeds the approved limit of $7,500. sending for manual review." In his work setup there is no cloud server, no external team, and not even a separate office. At home sits a Mac Mini with a sandbox at /Users/dev/mcp-shop, on top runs an MCP router with a single API key to Claude, and the same key is forwarded to a secure terminal on the iPhone. Out of everything I have seen this year, this is the cleanest solo shop for custom MCP servers for marketing agencies: $540 a month on the API, about $30,000 into the account, and between them 7 system prompts, 1 Mac Mini in a work corner, and 1 iPhone that never leaves the pocket.

British Kebab Awards reception at the Speaker's House Sir Lindsay Hoyle holding up a gifted t-shirt, "Too many kebabs and it won't fit" Dawn Butler, "If you look around this room you have some of the hardest working people in this room keeping our High Streets alive, and vibrant" "At a time when some people want to divide us based on where we come from, our immigration status, or the colour of our skin, there's one thing that I know about my local kebab shop" "It's a place where everybody is welcome, everybody comes in with a hungry belly and walk out with a smile on their face" "To those people who try to divide us, don't let them." Sir Lindsay Hoyle, "What I love about kebabs, aside from the taste, is that they are produced by so many different communities.. And on almost every High Street in every community you can find hard working kebab businesses serving late into the night" "And in doing so contributing £2.8 billion each year to the UK economy, supporting more than 200,000 jobs. More than 20,000 kebab restaurants and takeaways across the UK. Selling more than 1.3 million kebabs every day" Baron Bilimoria, "All this talk about immigration is all about bad immigration, illegal immigration, dangerous immigration, why don't we talk about the good immigration?" "These awards are a celebration of what immigration can do for this country." "Without the contribution of the approaching 20% of ethnic minorities in this country, we would not, with less than 1% of the world population, be the sixth largest economy in the world" Gavin Williamson, "It is you, the people willing to take a risk, it is you who dreams of building something better, that creates growth, that creates wealth, and that is what creates jobs" Founder of the British Kebab Awards, Ibrahim Dogus, "These awards are about giving businesses a platform, about saying that hospitality matters, that small business matters, that hard people working deserve recognition" "One of the proudest things about these awards for me is seeing businesses grow in confidence because somebody says: we see you, we value what you do your contribution matters" "That is what tonight is about, recognition, opportunity, enterprise, community, and the belief that Britain is stronger because of the people who came here, built here, employed here, and made this country their home"

We raised a $1.6M pre-seed round! At River we're building an events platform for global brands to let members from their community host on their behalf. We're thrilled to partner with Blue Wire Capital, Blockwall, BFC, LAUNCH, very early Ventures, and Solana Foundation for our pre-seed round. 15 months ago I had an insight while building community for The All-In Podcast. I couldn’t find an event platform that would let fans host their own events without data sharing issues and tons of work for me as the organizer. So @jason suggested we build one. He invested an angle check along with Balaji . We’re super proud of how much we built this past year with just $150k. Our MVP has powered community events for The All-In Podcast , My First Million, Tim Ferriss, Bryan Johnson, Dave Asprey, Superteam, Solana Foundation, DeGods, and more. We’ve already had over 2,000 events, produced by 3,000 crowd-sourced hosts with 55k attendees. These community events have happened in over 150 cities around the world. All with a *tiny fraction* of the planning effort of other event platforms because River lets the COMMUNITY produce the events. We’re so excited to build IRL community at a massive scale in a way that’s never been done before and we’d love to have you follow along. Could River help your community? → Tim Ferriss used River to celebrate the 10th anniversary of his podcast by bringing 4k fans together in 150+ cities on a single day → Superteam uses River to host 100+ IRL watch parties during their live stream of the Solana Ecosystem Call *every month* → This Week in Startups uses River to host Founder Fridays jam sessions each month around the world (founders only!) → The All-In Podcast had 20+ unofficial side events around All-In Summit in LA and hosts worldwide meetups to celebrate episode milestones. More use cases around paid events and paid membership subscriptions coming soon! BACK TO BUILDING 🚀

Today is a special day for us. D12 Forever: Volume 1 is officially out now on all streaming platforms We're doing our best to keep this legacy alive and represent everyone who helped build it. A special thank you to Marshall for believing that we could pull this project off, even when we were doing it on our own. Thank you for the encouragement and for carrying our CD with you as the project progressed. Even with your incredibly busy schedule, you still tried to make the project deadline, and that means a lot. Thank you to Paul for his support, motivation, and encouragement throughout this process. To all of the brothers who helped make D12 what it is today, we hope we've done right by this project. The absence of Proof in the flesh is something we feel every day. But everything he taught us, everything he stood for, and the spirit he brought to this group was never lost. His influence was with us every step of the way, and thanks to his son Deshaun and family, so was his voice. To everyone who has supported us through the years and stuck with us through the highs and lows, sincerely, thank you. Your support has meant the world. Much love to Erik and the entire Theory / Compound / Virgin / A Splitter team for believing in this project and helping bring it to life. Shade 45 and Ron Millz for their support..Salute to all of you. There were times when it would've been easier to walk away. When it was so hard to move forward, and we had every reason to quit. But y'all know us. We do what the fuck we want. To Xzibit, Method Man, B-Real, George Clinton, Tech N9ne, King Iso, Ice-T, Eli Ble$$ed (Proof would be proud), Melanie Rutherford, Nick and Sly Piper, your support and contributions to this project mean a great deal to us. It's an honor and a blessing to have all of you be a part of this project.Derty Jake we did it! Right now, we're in the UK getting ready for our shows, celebrating this release with fans across the world, and this is by no means a complete list of everyone who contributed. To everyone who played a part, supported us, encouraged us, and believed in us, thank you. From Devil's Night to D12 Forever, this has always been bigger than us. Thank you for riding with us.
