I see this all the time when I am out and about in the winter, the patent is bundled up and the kid isn’t. Sometimes it’s even as bad as the kid is wearing just a t-shirt. If my kid didn’t have a jacket and I was low on funds I would go without before my kid didn’t have a jacket. Worst comes to worst if I had to get one from a thrift store I would do that too, anything for my kid not to go cold like that. This woman was criticized because she refused to spend $35 for a coat for her kid in the winter. She thinks it’s too expensive. Last winter my kid came home from school in a jacket I didn’t buy him. He already has a few really nice and warm jackets that he picked out at the Polo store. But I guess the school had a program that gave new coats to every child. Was I wrong for this? I made him return it because he didn’t need it. I feel like the coat they gave him could have went to a child that actually needed it. He was fine with it because it wasn’t a brand he normally wears anyways. But I think the school should have been more selective about who they gave these coats too. There are kids out there that go without and could benefit, but my kid isn’t one of them. Am I a jerk for that? I am ashamed to say that I, too, dismissed Tommy Robinson as "far right" because that's all I'd heard.
