Weekend project: reverse engineered the RAM 2500 CAN bus. Captured live CAN traffic, found the message IDs that moved in the 2024 layout, patched the DBC/fingerprint path, and got openpilot working. Supervised L2, not full self driving, but still pretty damn cool!

🚕 Europe’s first self-driving taxi service launches in Croatia The Robotaxi service has started operating in Zagreb. For now, 10 autonomous vehicles are driving around the city and can be ordered through an app. There is still a safety operator inside the cars, but the company plans to remove drivers completely in the future. If the project proves successful, the service could expand to around 30 other European cities.

The vcr ended up shorter bcs the eo limited it to 2 mins :( its not much, but i think it turned out okay. I was really moved by all the messages from IDs and all the photos, and Hanbin itself said the letters touched him too 💗 Thank you to every ID who participated. In the German Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm an autonomous Tesla FSD supervised shuttle service has been launched, accompanied by the Rhineland-Palatinate Minister of Economic Affairs and Transport and the local authorities. "Reliable and flexible mobility is especially vital in rural areas. With the launch of a shuttle service using self-driving vehicles (FSD supervised) by Tesla in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm, an innovative pilot project is now getting underway that complements local community bus services. It is the first project of its kind in Europe. The Ministry for Economic Affairs and Transport of Rhineland-Palatinate accompanied the project from an early stage, with Minister Daniela Schmitt experiencing the technology first-hand. All parties involved – municipalities, approval authorities and the company – worked closely together to make this project possible. The result is a real gain for rural mobility: greater accessibility, more flexibility and tangible benefits for everyday life. A strong signal for innovation, cooperation and future-oriented mobility beyond urban centers." The test drives supervised by the FSD in Europe have now led to positive recognition by transport ministries and municipalities that the system represents added value for citizens, and that is a big win. Authorities are now understanding that autonomous driving with FSD supervised is save and should be supported.
