lol i like how they try to sniff it. I imagine by next week they will be cuddling up next to the dogbot on the couch

they will never get along, unfortunately 🙂 Real dogs visually recognize something similar, but the absence of small and head/facial microexpressions creates cognitive dissonance

maybe add a tennis ball throwing module on it XP

I wonder if I am right and they see this as a giant insect due to rigid frame and stiff, jointed movement. From an animal POV cuing in on generalized visual/motion patterns, this might be the conclusion.
