I don’t usually talk about April 19. It’s a day that still sits heavy in my chest, like a quiet ache that never fully leaves. I remember waking up to the news, the kind that doesn’t fully register at first… like your heart knows before your mind can catch up. Everything felt still and wrong. I live in LA and knowing Eunwoo was also here too at the time, so far from home, made me panicked. My thoughts kept drifting thinking this can’t be real. This has to be a misunderstanding. I thought of Eunwoo being here at a time like this, wondering how lonely that moment must have felt. Just the night before, I had been leaving messages for Bin on Weverse. I lit a candle and sat there for a long time, just crying. It was one of the hardest days I’ve ever experienced in this fandom. But I also remember how we came together. Spaces filled with prayer, people from all over the world holding each other up. That kind of love stays with me. I don’t speak about this day often because it’s still hard… but today I wanted to speak about our Moonbin. The pain hasn’t gotten easier with time but having all of you to lean on has always brought me comfort. Let’s lean on each other today. We love and miss you our Moon 🌙🤍

It amazes me when poor Ghanaians and Nigerians clash online. Sorry, nothing dey for poor people. Oh yes, there is no war in Ghana, but I was wondering on what basis this my Ghanaian brother I met today in Osaka is seeking asylum in Japan. The ones online will come and say how each others’ dirty African countries are better than each other. And how Nigerians are better criminals than Ghanaians and this heightened my anger the past one week. How can a Ghanaian even say he is better than a Nigerian? Not like I give a fuck about Nigerians! I asked for direction and my Ghanaian brother said he has not been in Japan for long and I asked, “How long?” He said, “10 months.” How can 10 months not be enough, oluku? 😂 “Fair enough,” I said, at the immigration office, done with solving my problems.
