These claims are wildly exaggerated to the point of being misinformation. Let’s break this down cleanly and honestly, no influencer fairy dust. 🚩 Big red flags first Any time you see numbers like: •“500% more fat burning” •“7 lbs of toxins” •“290% blood pressure reduction” •“flushes lymph in 48 hours” …it’s a hard no from biology. Your body does not work in percentages like that, and “toxins” isn’t a measurable thing outside of very specific chemicals that your liver and kidneys already remove. Smoothies do not override human physiology. ⸻ Smoothie-by-smoothie reality check 1️⃣ Spinach, pineapple, ginger Claim: Burns fat 500% more, flushes 7 lbs of toxins, thins blood Reality: •Spinach = nutrients, fiber, potassium •Pineapple = bromelain (digestive enzyme) •Ginger = mild anti-inflammatory, may slightly help digestion ✔️ Can help digestion and reduce bloating ❌ Does not burn fat 500% faster ❌ Does not flush toxins ⚠️ “Thins blood” is misleading. Ginger can mildly affect clotting, but it’s not a blood thinner in the medical sense ⸻ 2️⃣ Beet, pomegranate, apple Claim: Lowers blood pressure 290% in one week Reality: •Beets can help modestly lower blood pressure via nitric oxide •Pomegranate has antioxidants •Apples have fiber ✔️ May support cardiovascular health ❌ A 290% drop in BP would mean… you’d be dead Realistic reduction from diet = a few points, not miracles ⸻ 3️⃣ Grapefruit, blueberry, ginger (before bed) Claim: Speeds fat burn 67% at night Reality: •Blueberries = antioxidants •Ginger = digestion support •Grapefruit = can interfere with many medications ❌ No evidence of nighttime fat-burning boost ⚠️ Drinking fruit before bed can actually raise blood sugar and disrupt sleep for some people ⸻ 4️⃣ Celery, parsley, cucumber Claim: Flushes lymph in 48 hours, removes 7–9 lbs of water Reality: •These are mostly water + potassium •They can act as mild diuretics ✔️ May reduce temporary water retention ❌ Lymphatic system does NOT get “flushed” by food ❌ 7–9 lbs would be dehydration, not healing ⸻ The truth nobody on TikTok says •Weight changes from these smoothies are water + gut contents, not fat •Any “drop” rebounds once you eat normally •Real fat loss requires time, calorie balance, hormones, and consistency •Lymphatic drainage happens via movement, muscle contraction, breathing – not celery juice ⸻ My straight-up take These smoothies are fine as food. They are not medical treatments, detox tools, or fat-burning hacks. Influencers use: •Fake percentages •Buzzwords (“toxins”, “flush”, “lymph”) •Before/after illusions Because hope sells better than honesty.

Smoothies can help you hit protein, fiber, and hydration in one go but they’re not magic weight‑loss buttons. Great as a supportive habit, especially if it replaces a heavier meal. The real progress still comes from consistency, not one recipe.

If you are prone to kidney stones there is nothing worse for you than running high oxalate foods like beets and spinach through a blender/food processor. It makes the little bony fragments turn to daggers. Avoid.

Absolute 💩. All of this information is wildly amplified to extreme levels. The days of misinformation are getting profoundly worse online and it’s verging on terrifying.

These AI videos are now too many.. I don’t think people would be heavily overweight or ill if all it took was a few smoothies. Aowa..

The mere fact that a claim is presented in a well-produced video often grants it an unearned sense of authority. It’s as if the quality of the visuals automatically validates the message, making it easy to convince a wide audience. This really highlights the immense power of visual storytelling—and how easily it can be used to shape perception, regardless of the facts.

nah! the oxalates in that amount of spinach will cause you kidney stones and you can even loose your kidneys. Spinach may be good in moderation, eating 5 or ten leaves or something like that.
