It’s weird because you’re a man and don’t get pregnant Not every pregnancy is the same so not every woman can eat the same things she once did. Also once labor starts it can be quick or for almost a day or more. So yea depending on how it went for her she might be fucking hungry.

In the US they won’t let women eat while in labor at the hospital. So she could have gone days without eating. They also say not to eat cold deli meats because they are too lazy to test for antibodies for listeria. So if she really likes sandwiches with deli meat, that’s several months without it.

You’re supposed to avoid deli meat, soft cheese and sushi due to risks of listeria. Listeria is a unique bacterial infection which can cross the placenta and sicken, or even kill the baby. My wife demanded a sandwich after popping each of our kids out.

So yeah labor can last for hours and is very physically draining for the mother not to mention she can’t eat right after bc they’re doing a bunch of medical stuff on the mother and child, a girl be HUNGRY after labor especially if she didn’t eat meat

I am currently 25 weeks pregnant and still eating deli meat. You’re more likely to get listeria from fruits and lettuce than deli meat. Also being pregnant doesn’t make you more likely to get listeria but ppl act like it does lmao

Ah, the meal after giving birth was the most satisfying of my life. If she was like me and had a scheduled induction due to necessity, women can't eat because they may require surgery should complications arise. That was the case in my experience. Needed emergency C-section.
