It is a fun film. Regarding the story you mentioned—a fake film with a Rs 2,000 crore budget. All I can say is that a film is being made with the specific intention of spending Rs 2,000 crores just to make it flop. They spend that money to ensure it fails. #WelcomeToTheJungle #MovieReview - Non-stop action comedy that moves at a rapid pace. Rating: 🤣🤣🤣🤣1/2 If Manmohan Desai had made Sholay with Amar Akbar Anthony then he would have made Welcome To The Jungle. As the great filmmaker used to say, a commercial movie needs to have a highlight sequence every 10 minutes. This is what happens here as comedy, action, music peppers the screenplay and then gets into a repeat mode to ensure that there is no dull moment. #AkshayKumar is simply excellent in his comic avtar and surpasses a lot of his other legendary characters this time around. His double role act is a hoot. Also, his scenes with #RaveenaTandon are the best part of the film. It’s wonderful to see #SunielShetty back on screen. He is superb and so is #ArshadWarsi who is just natural. Veterans #JohnyLever #PareshRawal and #RajpalYadav bring the house down. As for #DishaPatani and #JacquelineFernandez, they are simply cool on eyes. #JackieShroff gets into the #Gabbar mode and his styling is quite good, while #VinduDaraSingh is fun as his #Sambha. The real surprise though are #FaridaJalal and #KiranKumar who get the house down with their poker faced comedy. The trio from #Mahabharat are fun and then there is a bit of #Border reference too with #SudeshBerry getting on the scene. What could have been better? Well, the training sequences don’t work at all in the middle of the first half and then similarly the middle of the second half is also okayish. However barring this, the film moves at a very rapid pace and the inclusion of songs is done very well too with the scale showing. My recommendation? Just go for this #AhmedKhan directed film and have some great laughs. It has been ages since one checked out a family entertainer like this with so much non-stop humour for more than 2.5 hours. Google approached me and asked if I would be down to collab with their research team to create a film for Google I/O. Not only would I have access to Flow, their latest AI filmmaking tool, but I would also be responsible for giving feedback on the product itself. The filmmaker in me was excited for the challenge, but the technologist in me was living out my dream in helping mold a next-generation product for a new era of filmmaking. The disdain Tommy Lee Jones says "Dr." in Dr. Richard Kimble still kills me. THE FUGITIVE is one of those movies where I couldn't possibly tell you how many times I've seen it. I had the VHS, the DVD, the Blu-ray, and now the 4k. I decided I wanted to write commercial screenplays in 1994. Released in '93, THE FUGITIVE was pretty much the gold standard for me. The screenplay I first sold borrowed heavily from the structure. FIRST HALF: Escape and evade. SECOND HALF: Solve the mystery. It FEELS plot-heavy, but it isn't. The throughlines are clear and simple. It has the not-so-secret sauce of all great movies: Great characters in great scenes. The adrenaline this monologue creates as it propels us into the rest of the film is perfection. One of the best studio films of the 90s, THE FUGITIVE is a classic. I love this movie.

Why So Much Hate for Border 2? 🤔 Right after the #Border2teaser dropped, social media was suddenly flooded with negativity. People started complaining about VFX, real locations, and calling everything fake—judging the entire film from just a few teaser shots. That’s honestly ridiculous. What these people ignore is that Border 2 has already been shot extensively over months at real locations and The teaser barely showed 3–4 action glimpses—predicting a whole film from that makes no sense. The funny part is that many trailers released earlier had shots that looked average too, yet they didn’t face this level of trolling. Here, the target is obvious — it’s a Sunny Deol film. He’s unapologetically nationalist, and that clearly makes some people uncomfortable.. The same drama happened with Gadar 2—pre-release hate, nonstop trolling, and then complete silence after it turned into a massive blockbuster. History is repeating itself. 😂 And honestly, Sunny Deol alone is enough to make this film a hit, just like Gadar 2. Even that film didn’t have world-class VFX, yet it shattered records—and Border 2 already looks far better. So keep crying, keep trolling—it’s only increasing the hype. Hot take, but I’ve always felt Vice City is easily the worst GTA. I’ve never fully understood the hype around it. Don’t get me wrong the atmosphere is amazing, the 80s vibe is iconic, and the soundtrack is one of the best in the series. Tommy and Ken are great characters too. But once past that, the game itself doesn’t hold up as well for me. The map feels small and empty, especially compared to San Andreas, and even GTA 3 felt bigger in some ways. Driving around and exploring isn’t that fun, which is a huge part of what makes GTA games enjoyable. The missions are where it really loses me. Many feel repetitive or straight-up frustrating, especially early on. The RC helicopter mission inside the building is a perfect example more annoying than fun. It often feels like the game is just throwing obstacles at you instead of offering natural progression. To me, it’s always felt more like a quick follow-up to GTA 3 than a fully evolved entry, leaning heavily on style over substance. It has its moments, but compared to the other GTA games, it just doesn’t hit the same.
