Killer Mike: “We [Atlanta] lost the All-Star Game. I thought that was a big mistake. We lost ~$40 million in terms of losing the All-Star Game. It didn’t feel very good to me, and I felt like some people didn’t say, ‘Man, we should’ve thought about that a little longer before we called for boycotts in Atlanta and Georgia.’ Keisha: “I was happy.”

Anthony Kim didn’t earn a single point his first two LIV seasons. That wasn’t shocking—he’d been retired for over a decade! But when he got relegated, seemed like maybe that was it for the comeback. It wasn’t, he earned his way back, now this. Impossible

Harry about ‘Season 2 Weight Loss’ “It's like, you know, when there's like a Netflix show and then it blows up and everyone comes back in the second season, everyone's got a nutritionist and everyone's got a trainer and everyone suddenly looks amazing. Yeah. Season 2 weight loss. So, it's like this idea of just coming back as like returning as like this is the same character, but suddenly he has cheekbones. He has cheekbones. And that was that was what it was for me is like I felt like I was coming back as like a stronger version of myself.”

“What does it mean for Hayes to step in and show he has [Luka’s] back?” LeBron: “We didn’t need that moment for Luka to know that Jackson had his back […] it’s not like a moment in time that will solidify our season…” Interesting answer.

🚨🗣️ Xavi on Messi’s failed return to Barcelona: “You know Messi is a good friend. We were talking about how he would really like to come back, and I was totally in agreement. That was the moment I thought we were going to Montjuïc to do like a Michael Jordan Last Dance. Messi and I were in touch for four months, and then came Laporta’s decision that he didn’t want to bring Messi back to Barcelona. This is true and very strange. It was very difficult for me to say to Messi, ‘We will not do it. We will not do it.’” [PGX Podcast]

Kevin Durant on his welcome to the NBA moment: “The Lakers were on a back to back so we felt naturally that’d be a easy game for us. Then Kobe scored 47 and hit a game winner. That’s when I was like ‘yeah he’s a different machine.’ That’s who I want to be in this league” (Via

( 🐰 it actually really hurt my feelings back then. whenever i tried to approach yeonjun hyung and start a conversation, he would just try to hide everything and it felt like he was putting up a wall. but that day, while we were drinking together, for the first time in years, he opened up and shared his honest feelings with me. so i ended up crying that day… while we were talking 👤 why? what made you cry? 🐰 just while i was listening, it suddenly started coming out… i hadn’t cried like that in a while. he’s kind of like a ‘sore finger’ for me, you know… and he was going through a really tough time back then, but it felt like he was in the process of becoming a better person, someone stronger. i think that’s what made me feel really happy about it. i was really relieved

Raul Rosas Jr. describes the frightening moments after Raoni Barcelos went unconscious on Saturday: “For a second, I didn’t know if he died, to be honest. Then I calmed myself down a little bit and checked if he was breathing. I saw his body breathing, so I was like, ‘OK, he’s not dead for sure.’ That made me feel a little more peaceful, but I was still sitting there praying. I just did a quick prayer and hoped that he woke up and went back to his family. In the fifth, I put the pace back on, and I think his body could have just shut down from tiredness... When I got a hold of him, he felt so weak. His body felt done. Now that I see that he was out, I’m like, shit, maybe that’s the reason he felt so weak, because he was already out.”
