I built a "gaming PC" sans an overpriced video card so I'm relegated to games from my (and I suspect our) youth. Battlefield 1942 still slaps and C&C Generals Zero Hour have been my go to's lately. BF1942 still has servers online and the kids ask how I got so good.

Honestly if I was in an org where my job was impossible I would probably leave…. I’ve found that unless there is a compelling event security often is said but not done. The event can be: Regulatory Contractual Post incident Otherwise it’s largely a dirty word and the reality is you won’t be able to actually do change largely

@PrimalColin2 I talked to one of the heads of the EFF. I believed we could make change. He said that you’ll grow old and tired if the org doesn’t want it. Go do good things at an org willing to improve.

My experience, trying to learn how to build a development portfolio, to learn cybersecurity, has been that everytime I get a solid foundation the bottom drops out🤷🏾‍♀️ but at least I haven't returned to day drinking
