@SenMikeLee The Federal Gov should return the lands within State borders to those States and let them decide what to do with them.

@SenMikeLee Thank you for sharing this information. I wasn’t aware of his connections to that company and was a supporter of the land sale provision. Now I’m not, but I admit it would have been nice to have access to more affordable land for agriculture.

@SenMikeLee To be fair, the federal government should not be in the business of holding land as an asset. These are not parks or land that the public can use. The states should be the ones holding this land.

@SenMikeLee And the reason states don't want this land sold is because they are receiving revenue for "managing" those lands. My state receives about 300 million of revenue to manage these and none of the this land is accessible to private citizens here. So yes, follow the money both ways

@SenMikeLee If they just want true affordable housing, there are plenty of abandoned factories that can be converted to apartments and are usually near job markets.This will likely be 'affordable housing', baby estates for the better off because ballers live nearby.

@SenMikeLee Public lands belong to all of us and wildlife. Hunters rely on public lands, as well as Falconers like myself. It has already become increasingly difficult to find open land to fly and hunt with my birds due to eveey square inch being built on. Leave the lands be! 🦅🌳
