In Poland there's a running joke about the US celebrating our Independance Day in that way.

It’s been reported that drivers in Los Angeles spend an average of 102 hours a year in traffic jams, which is the most in the world.

Why does it look like a clip from 2003

No amount of money or clout could make me live in big cities

Wow. So happy not to live in such a place.

Again, I may be belaboring the point, but the metro has increased its area of service pretty dramatically. They’ve added a bunch of new lines and while it’s not quite state of the art, it’s much faster than and convenient than this freakish waste of a perfectly good evening ….

That's just a normal day in that stretch of the 405, heading into the 101.
