Three people killed, and 15 injured in an explosion near a summer restaurant terrace in central Moscow on Saturday evening, according to police. The National Anti-Terrorist Committee (NAC) confirms it was a result of a terrlrist attack. The explosion occurred at around 8:00 p.m. by a Stalin-era skyscraper at Kudrinksaya Ploshchad, where an upscale Italian restaurant Balzi Rossi is located. The venue had been closed for a private event. NAC, cited by Interfax, acknowledged that an “unknown woman” attempted to smuggle a “homemade explosive device” into the restaurant.
