Lol, fair play. When you come face to face, up close, with a cow for the first time, it really hits home just how much mass they have.

Few things get a livestock farmer running faster than someone shouting Bloat or an open gate. Well done that cyclist, if you aren't used to cattle it takes some balls to stand still while they are coming at you.

Outside Waxham, Norfolk, I stopped for a bloke with a crook letting a load of sheep thru a gate. We stood next to each other in silence then the bloke leaned over & said "I'm 84!" & he followed the sheep thru the gate.

Do you never go to the countryside,happens all the time,just make some noise and they stop,then help farmer get them in field,job done,on your way.

I nearly got killed by a young cow trying to mount my rucksack on a hike once. Dived over a style with a 20kg pack on to get away from the fecker. Cows are dangerous if they want to be. Well done.

I was riding up there a few years ago when I encountered hundreds of sheep coming down the hill towards me. The farmer explained that they were being moved down from the upper grazing spots and I'd be waiting for a long time for all the flocks to pass. I turned back for the day.

From now on he will be known as the Cow Whisperer.
