There have been many moments recently where I’ve felt like the currents have been too tough to swim through… All I wanted to do was throw in the towel and come up for air. This video is from 29 July 2021. (When we used to have KG plates). This is the day we bought this RR pale Mombasa. It had just been imported from South Africa. I can’t believe it’s almost 5 years later… 40,000+kms later… a thousand trips later 😎. Never skipped a beat. Never seen the check engine light, zero leaks… never topped up coolant (of course it’s not a VW). This car has been so reliable in so many ways, I have done so many trips including Maasai Mara game drive (twice). It has never failed me and car has totally changed my mentality about Land Rovers. Those who personally know it know how clean it is. But now it’s time to let it go. It’s a hard decision, but for me to enjoy the G Wagon fully, I need to let it go so that I don’t keep on comparing the two. Will have it detailed properly and take photos for you guys.(honestly, I don’t even want to do that 😔). It’s 2014 Range Sport SDV6 HSE. Most promising crop of OSR in the country?! I walk my dogs around this 215ha block of OSR most days. Never seen any pigeons. Frost hasn't touched it. No gaps anywhere. Strong plants on all headlands and corners. Not much, if any, insect damage that I could see. No real diversity from margins or companions. I need to find out more about this crop!! Why does this look so strong and elsewhere OSR is struggling or failed?!
