They keep on saying rebuild but won’t give managers the resources n time. This is what happened to ETH apart from the fact that he signed most of his players. ETH came into United playing Ajax football that requires highly technical players but he tried to play his football within 2 games vs Brentford n Brighton he understood these guys can’t pass under pressure he adapted cos if he tried to stick to his principles n sign a entire squad he wouldn’t get the time n they won’t fund it, this is exactly what happened to Ruben n he knew why ETH failed n got fired Ruben said it twice that the previous manager changed his way of playing n lost his job he said not even the pope wud make him change and he got fired for refusing to adapt he wanted his project funded but the hiarchy didn’t trust him cos of the results n he told them he will quit but his lawyers told me you not cos we need to get paid so that’s why he said whatever to force the sack
