Trump’s campaign promises 2016-Mexico will pay for the wall: 1. Get Mexico to put 10,000 + troops on their southern border as it’s committed in USMCA 2. Trade deals resolved & evened-out with Mexico would pay billions towards the wall 3. If needed, Trump would put a 25% tax on monies wired from illegal US workers back to their families in Mexico 1 & 2 are already in-place. Border crossings are down to zero now. I suggest we put #3 into action! Mexico is paying for their new bright and shiny 30’ wall!

Great job spinning the question. So let me answer, no Mexico didn’t give a dime to fund the wall but their military is patrolling to make sure no illegals cross into America. Probably could have done that without the wall but who’s asking?

He did ultimately say that the US citizens were paying for the wall. The ‘fact’ that it’s been drawn from monies saved from reduced expenditures is somewhat of a stretch, but it remains true that USA IS PAYING for the wall.
