What a gift; that his child has just the right father and this father has just the right son. Beautiful! 💕

Looking at the world through my Nuggets’ eyes! 👀

That is how a true christian should talk (not saying he is one, I don't know)... but there are so many calling themselves christian when they only speak from prejudice and hate instead of compassion and love

Neuro divergency shines a light of understanding, diversity of thought, non linear thinking, expands understanding of the human mind, and creates a unique perspective, one that only takes but to ask, to see its brilliance. Please don’t fear the light of diversity.

As an adult with Autism, you are correct sir. I call it my super power. As a counselor working with autistic children up/down spectrum, all of us, even non verbal, have a power.

God bless you, you are acting like a great father should!! Don’t listen to their petty and despicable comments, they are soulless and heartless, enough said! 👏🏼

God is not a manufacturer. He’s an artist. Everyone & everything He creates is unique, priceless, & without equal. 🥰

I am on the Autism Spectrum too diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and A.D.D we are unique but we don't need to be prayed for. We are beautiful how we are.

That is called unconditional love, some of these hateful ppl on this site have never known that.

Absolutely Awesome Father!

Exactly! My daughter is Autistic & has seizures & is diabetic. It took her longer than most to complete college, then she continued and got a Master’s degree. Today she works with austistic kids & some are non-verbal & some have seizures. She calls this her “dream job”. She’s perfectly wonderful & has the biggest heart I’ve ever seen!

Beautifully and well said. I would let them (so called Christians) know you will pray for them to be healed so they can see all the beauty your son has to offer the word because he is beyond their comprehension.

Pardon my language but I said what im about to say with tears in my eyes like 15 times while I listened to this. "Fuck yea man!!!!" God bless you and your blessed kid. Literally made my day better seeing this.

I absolutely love this response! My 6 year old is non verbal level 3 autistic and we’re in the process of getting my 2 year old tested as well, and you said this exactly how it is! He’s an absolute genius especially when it comes to electronics, and doesn’t need to be fixed.

Aaaargh! Really annoys me when Christians judge others and think they can pray it away.

That man has a more christlike mind than anyone I knew or listened to when I was a christian

A loving response from a devoted father. Every child is a blessing, and while the challenges are undeniably real, unsympathetic judgments serve no purpose. Autistic individuals and their caregivers deserve greater understanding, empathy, and compassion from society.

As a special education para, thank you for this message. This was so beautiful and heartfelt. These kids are not broken. What breaks them, is cruelty and a lack of willingness for others to understand and be compassionate. If only they could lean into love.

You gave the best answer! I'm a former educator, who worked with kids on the spectrum, and helping them be their best selves, is wonderful, and enlightening!

W dad. An absolute legend. Anyone with Autism and/or Adhd is just as human as the rest of us. We may not understand them yet more clear, but with an open mind, heart and the will to learn, it can make a difference.

That's some ignorant shit to say. Your son is perfect; those well-meaning Christians need to go play in heavy traffic.

TWEET OF THE YEAR WINNER🏅! Nothing else compares!

❤️Amen🕊️

exactly! my son is an autistic 26 yr old. if he was "healed" he wouldn't be the son I love with all my heart and soul. I don't see anything wrong with him at all. Do i sometimes wish that things were different for him? sure, sometimes I get a thought like "He'll never know the love of having his own child, or having a marriage" etc., and I worry about his future when me and my husband are gone but I remind myself that I was given this awesome gift of a beautiful soul in a slightly different package. I treasure every single day I have with him.

Oh and Texas has filed lawsuits against Tylenol. Greedy SOB's already hopping on the wrong gravy train. You are a great dad and your son is a gift to you from God. He knew you were the right one. Might not feel like it all the time but your son needed a dad just like you

Just wonderful, may everyone see difference in the same way

It sounds as if this man is saying no one is born in the wrong body.

An amazing Dad! Your child IS a masterpiece. Those who are different challenge us to expand our thinking and our seeing. WE need to grow, not pray for them to “be changed”.

YAY DAD!! Your son is very fortunate to have you and likewise for sure! You’re also a great dad for taking the time to open the eyes of those that just don’t get it. Never stop!

abso-fucking-luty!!!! 👏🏼as a mom w an amazing kid on the spectrum, not very verbal but a little and progressing, I agree 1000% I don’t see her as a prob to be fixed. The prob is society demanding to fit everyone into their tiny ass box and my kid don’t fit and never will 🫶🏼

He is so blessed to have you as his Dad😭❤️

I really like that. That sageness runs down to his child? Autistic or not, that child'll be amazing! I lost faith yrs ago, but never my morals empathy or compassion. Why can't we go back to accountability and accepting people as who they are. "One is not above his brother."

You made my day, I have two grandsons with autism, I admit I have never prayed for god to heal them and never will. You have articulated all that I feel and never was able to get it right. Thank you !!!

I'm in awe of this father's perspective ❤️❤️ We are too conditioned to look for and enforce uniformity in EVERYONE. Its why we are so easily influenced to assimilate into other people's cognitions, beliefs, and standards of beauty and physicality.
