50 years ago the "Blacks don't have equal opportunity" claim would have been true. Now, universities accept Blacks with low SAT scores than White or Asian candidates. Corporations are falling over themselves to hire minorities over Whites. HR teams are pushing anti-White DEI policies where merit is sidelined in the name of diversity. Diversity quotas are pushed for management selection. In general, they have plenty of opportunity, just less ability. Whites enjoy much higher rates of upward mobility from poverty, compared to Whites. One could see that data point and conclude the "system is rigged" against Blacks. However, Blacks and Whites with similar intelligence (AFQT) levels rise out of poverty at almost the same rate. The "system" isn't rigged. Groups have differing intellectual ability and these differences explain much of the social/economic disparities in the US.
