also, should have painted it [flag] white: reflects ~ 80% to 85% of visible light/heat and absorbs almost nothing, whereas flag blue reflects only ~ 3% to 15% of light and absorbs the rest. plus makes it easier to spot algae early. now the algae are loving their dark new hot tub
