The idea of a calendar with 13 months of 28 days each sounds cool at first, but it has some big problems. First, 13 times 28 adds up to just 364 days. But a regular year has 365 days, so you're missing one. Second, Earth doesn't spin around the Sun in exactly 365 days. To be exact it's more like 365 days plus about 6 hours. That's why we add an extra day every 4 years (leap years!) to keep things like seasons lining up with the months. You could fix this by adding an extra "bonus" day at the year's end that isn't part of any week (or two in leap years). We could call it “Purge Day”

There used to be 13 months but then pope Gregory took a month away and this started the fall of humanity. Orthodox Church’s and some countries like Russia still use the old dates and this is why we celebrate Easter and Christmas at different times.

The Vedic Hindu Panchang which is a lunisolar calendar rooted in Vedic astronomy calculated the solar year at 365.2422 days (Ref: Surya Siddhanta, 4th CE) long before the Gregorian calendar was cobbled up together! It begins each year in Chaitra (Spring), perfectly aligned with nature & seasons! Contrast that to Gregorian calendar that bizarrely starts mid-winter in N. Hemisphere, completely cut off from natural seasonal cycles! And here's why the Month mismatch in Gregorian Calendar: September (Latin Septa “7th”) is the 9th Gregorian month, but aligns with the 7th Panchang month (Bhadrapada)! October** (Latin Octa “8th”) is the 10th Gregorian, but 8th Panchang month (Ashwin) ... And so on with November and December!!! When Rome adopted Christianity, they mocked those who still celebrated New Year in April (Chaitra) by inventing April Fools’ Day! It's good in theory, but the problem is, 13*28 = 364, not 365. Also, the full rotation isn't 365 days; it's actually 365 days, 6 hours and ~9min (which is why we need leap years to keep seasons in line with the months). It IS possible, but you have to basically add a "non-week" day at the end of the year (2 on leap years) to line it up, which is also awkward.
