Welp, it's official Guild Wars 3

Not gonna lie... it looks kinda... Gay...? The designs remind me of a mix between High Guard and some of the other games, like Veilguard. I played the hell out of GW1, but not much of GW2... and GW3 looks like it's going down that same path of boring, and without any edge.

Man, not hating on Guild Wars here at all. I'm hyped for it. But as soon as the trailer started playing I got flashbacks to HighGaurd. Not saying it'll flop or anything. More like i thought i was watching a new trailer for Highgaurd.

I loved gw1. I played tons of gw2 for the WvW. But this trailer looks like its catered to the type of people who liked the boring ass 'personal story', women, and gays. I dont want an axolotl tumbler fan art mount. I wanna slaughter the charr past the great northern wall in plate armor and choose from an encyclopedia worth of skills to outplay some nerds. Sure, its only a cinematic, but everything feels wrong about it

There was a time where I really enjoyed Guild Wars 2, but it has been on an ever increasing gay activist streak since launch. Last I checked a handful of years ago the story was revolving around the feelings of the non binary dragon companion you were hanging out with.

As a big enjoyer of GW1, this looks like a 100% flop to me.

Don't get your hopes up. They participate in illegal hiring practices and discriminate against men in their hiring process. It's going to be woke trash.

I loved Guild Wars originally, but not sure I'm interested in a new one after all they did.

Look to mutch like disney game. I hope the best i realy liked GW 2.

GW1 was good. GW2 started strong but got progressively worse the more DEI infested and patronising it became. Think GW3 is going to be like Veilguard/Highguard.

I'll only play it if they scrap the godawful horizonal progression system. That kind of "you never feel any stronger no matter how much you grind" gameplay is what made me bored with GW2 and bored with ESO.

I am cautiously optimistic. It does look pretty uh... effeminate and cartoony, though.

It looks gay as fuck. Why every MMO nowaday is high fantasy with colors and rainbows... Nothing make sense in that art direction, stupid mix of everything with 0 vision we saw everywhere already, just more modern soupe.

Guild woke 3

I loved Guild Wars 1, my guild were around playing GW from 05 to 12 and were even highlighted as a Guild of the Week! But most of us abandoned Guild Wars 2 after just a few months. Guild Wars 3 doesn’t interest me at all. I'd love something like GW1 though.

It looks painfully generic and far removed from the tone, grit and aesthetics that made the original game so memorable. Not a fan of the character designs either.

If it takes all th egood features from the first game and adds all the good features from the second game, will be amazing. Guild Wars 1 is probably the most underrated game of all time. It was way to ahead of its time for all of its systems.

The characters and animals look like slop. I hope they do remodels and make it more gritty, less corpo.

They talked up GW2 and then abandoned a lot of what they talked about with character stories etc just after launch. I don't really trust them anymore. It's a shame since the original GW was so good.

No combat though. Just some mount riding. I'll look forward to more. MMO's gotta feel good with the combat for them to work out.
