I would disagree that ”he always beat the $hit out of Probert” but he sure did well against the big guy.

Wendel was my hockeycard collecting starting guy... first ironically... but then I actually realised that he was The Man!

Wendell was a MONSTER, at 5'11 and under 200 lbs. Fought so hard for the leafs his body was fucked from the hits and fighting. One hell of a warrior.

Good Sasky Boy. If you guys haven't seen the Wendell Clark Tribute on YouTube, go watch it. It's set to Hero of The Day by 'tallica. It's fantastic!! The last clip is he and Mr Probert going at it. Epic!

Easily among the toughtest pound for pound players of all time. Endless amounts of clips of his hits, and fights, plus you get former players saying it in first hand accounts. It was a privilege to watch him play and I didn't appreciate it enough at the time.

Played good at home. Clark wasn’t good outside MapleLeaf Garden. Not true about Probert. Probert would take punches to get the guys to tire or wait for opening.

Much respect to these guys acknowledging Wendel Clark.

In a Leaf fan and Wendel fan, but Probert absolutely wrecked Wendel. Wendel fought him 3 times. 2 losses and 1 draw.

I'm so lucky to be around when Wendel came in, it was euphoria. The guy literally had it all, and he was as tenacious as could be.

Hull would spend summers with Wendel and Chase at Greenwater Lake.
