Passports can be ready in 2 weeks but bag of rice is still N80,000. Ah…. let me rush and tell Iya Treasure, the tomato seller, that passports can be ready in 2 weeks. I’m sure Yakubu, the mai ruwa, would be so thrilled about this news. The little wins, right? ☺️

If una believe this thing ehhh I can tell you the state office I went to and the exorbitant amount I was asked to pay, and still wait for about a month before I will be captured

This isn’t generally true! @BTOofficial I know those who have captured in Abuja for >4 wks now & d passport hasn’t been produced. Also, nothing has changed from d system that immediate past Minister left except d additional reqt of State of Origin for renewal of children passport

Baba na lie. You have backlogs. Infact on your collection slip you are to collect your passport after 2-3 months.

My passport has not been ready in port Harcourt office for the pass 3months now. Reason l didn't pay for express. It's well with u Hon minister.

I went for my capturing at Abeokuta on 15th of February 2024. I haven't received call or any notification regarding my passport. Not even sure if the track application is working

An update on #GlobalMarchToGaza - myself and many others including Canadians are being held up at a checkpoint between Cairo and Ismailia. Everyone’s passport has been taken. We have been told that no one is allowed to cross this checkpoint unless if they are Egyptian. People are not getting their passports back. Some have been waiting for hours. Some people have been told to get their passports back, they have to get on a bus to the airport to be deported. There are hundreds and estimated 1000 people at this checkpoint alone. People are rallying and chanting at this checkpoint - “Free Free Palestine”.
