This looks neat. Also looking at this I'm surprised how MS still didn't implement an official env file configuration builder. I have been using mine for 5 years now in every project and moved away from json Easier to see config in the format of env vars

How would you handle external resources for prod environment, like a Pgsql server? By adding env vars to the docker compose file?

I threw this together using gh copilot + claude 4 + aspire in a couple of minutes. This is an aspire app with a python fastapi using a wizard to setup a python virtual environment. These types of experiences can be built in minutes, reusable and custom to your application/environment/team etc. Next version of aspire is going to be 🔥🔥. #dotnet #aspire #python #fastapi
