I literally work for 2 state level Representatives. I finally had my first call from someone who lost SNAP yesterday. My boss drove to their house and personally delivered a month’s worth of groceries to them as they are truly in need. He has done the same for many, many more that haven’t called but he just knew would need it and trust me, he isn’t a rich man. So don’t tell me Republicans don’t care. I have seen so many working hard to make sure there is food available. How did Democrat votes end the shutdown if Republicans were the ones causing it?
