Confidential tokens preserve public verifiability while keeping amounts and balances encrypted. But to make them the new default, we need to rally the entire stack of tools we already use today, wallets, explorers, indexers, and more. It's a big lift, and it's happening now. The work the team at Blockscout 🔭 did is a step in that direction: they're the first block explorer to natively support ERC-7984 confidential tokens, verifiable transfers with encrypted amounts. We recorded a demo with DOSH | 🦇🔊 from the Blockscout team, walking through how it works, and what explorers become when encrypted tokens are the default. This demo shows the work Zama is doing across the board: onboarding the tooling the ecosystem already relies on, so confidentiality onchain becomes the new normal, not the exception.

Here's a video with a sneak peek at the dashboard that every Flowsta user gets access to. All user data on Flowsta is stored on Holochain. 1 public hApp (Holochain App) for public data like Agent ID, DID (W3C Decentralized ID), Display Name and Thumbnail. Each user has their own private hApp that encrypts all their private data, like password, email and usage meta data. Nobody can access this data without your password and/or recovery keys. It is mathematically impossible for Flowsta staff or anybody else to access this data without you explicitly granting access. This is game-changing. You see this SSRF attack yeah? Big companies with strong engineering teams like Capital One, GitHub, Microsoft, Alibaba, and others, have all suffered from it in the past. Once an attacker successfully exploits SSRF, they can pivot from the application into the underlying infrastructure, using credentials (keys, tokens, metadata secrets, etc.) that the server is tricked into returning. From there, cloud-level access becomes possible, depending on the permissions of the exposed credentials. If your environment is poorly isolated, this can escalate into full infrastructure compromise. You can see how I tricked the server into making a request to its internal resource, saving the response in a static folder and serving me these cloud config data.

You see this SSRF attack yeah? Big companies with strong engineering teams like Capital One, GitHub, Microsoft, Alibaba, and others, have all suffered from it in the past. Once an attacker successfully exploits SSRF, they can pivot from the application into the underlying infrastructure, using credentials (keys, tokens, metadata secrets, etc.) that the server is tricked into returning. From there, cloud-level access becomes possible, depending on the permissions of the exposed credentials. If your environment is poorly isolated, this can escalate into full infrastructure compromise.
