I have to disagree with you. Im Kuwaiti, Kuwait never slant drilled. We do not need to slant drill, we are in a GULF in the water, the elevation change between Kuwait and iraq is different and already slanted, we are on the coast and they are in land, the elevation is higher above sea level in iraq, oil FLOWS DOWN naturally, have you been to a beach? we dont even use these techniques and even american drillers in Kuwait denied it and said Kuwait doesn't need to even incorporate this. We had the expertise of american companies who even said that. This was a US fabricated lie to push saddam in a war with Kuwait to fund its war with iran. Iraqs economy was declining because YOU pushed him to fight iran in the 1980s for 9 year. You wanted to CONTINUE that perpetual war and to sell weapons. So you pushed him into a war in Kuwait and to annex Kuwait to fund the iran iraq war. Then turned around and "saved" Kuwait for oil and protection deals and a base and selling weapons. The reason you "didn't take down his artillery" was because you want him to continue fighting iran again, he was your puppet, and you want to put Kuwait in constant fear so you can sell weapons and patriot defense weapons. America was the reason for the war in Kuwait. If saddam accused Kuwait of slant drilling it was because america pushed that lie and narrative. Even April Glaspie gave him the green light. My father was a POW and died in that war, you committed war crimes on highway 80, on what is known now as the highway of death, not only did you massacre iraqis retreating, but there were Kuwaiti POWs there in those retreating convoys being held for ransom. I respect you @RealScottRitter and i agree with allot of your view, if not all, on other things, but i have to disagree with this, stop spreading these lies without even any PROOF of slant drilling, we employ many americans oil drillers and companies and they work on our fields. We never slant drilled. Do not continue to push that lie without any PROOF, show me the PROOF. You commit war crimes on retreating iraqis and fabricate lies for more money and bases and pin countries against countries, iraq against iran, and suni against shia, saudi against iran, etc and you want to call us the bad guys?
