Most Japanese people are conservative and Takaichi has overwhelming support here. Many support Trump but many don't. Some people get his sense of humor but some don't. There are also some debates over tariffs, Iran, etc. Many older generation grew up with anti-war feelings because of World War 2 but that is mostly fading now.
