🌟Deputy Muon Leaves the Hospital🌟 Deputy Muon is officially heading home after his stay at the hospital, and he was sent off with an incredible clap-out from everyone who has been by his side through it all. Thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff who took such great care of him, and to #teamHCSO and the entire community for the outpouring of love and support. Deputy Muon’s healing journey continues at home, but today was a celebration worth sharing!

We’re at KNH with Jonah Kariuki whose son Boniface Mwangi Kariuki was brutally shot by a rogue police force at close range yesterday while hawking face masks along Moi Avenue during the #JusticeForAlbertOjwang protest. Boniface Mwangi Kariuki is alive but fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit at the KNH. 🛎️My mom beats Leukemia and rings the bell! Last December, I asked you all for your prayers. My mom was diagnosed with Leukemia. She kept it a secret and even left the hospital that day to come to my event and said she was going back to the hospital and wouldn’t tell me why. I walked in the hospital at 1am and asked the doctors for the truth, and the truth is there was a cancer journey ahead of us. Surgeries, many months of chemo, and now we’re here to ring the bell. From our family, we thank you to the Rush Hospital staff and all those who showed up and sent love during this time. This is a new chapter for my mom and I know she will see better days! #ANewDay

We’re at the Christmas Eve service Grace Family Church There’s a full house and it’s so nice to have our family together to celebrate the arrival of our Savior. The message was from Matthew Chapter 1: Jesus always existed but He came up close and personal (Immanuel) to save us (Jesus). He came for you and He came for me. He had one mission—to bring us back into fellowship with His Father. No matter what the situation is that we’re in God is with us (Immanuel) and He will save us (Jesus) 🙏🏽

A Kansas City woman was denied medical care while suffering back-to-back seizures after her husband filed a complaint against Overland Park Regional Hospital One week agoa man named Quae filed a complaint on behalf of his wife, Nisha, at the hospital due to her experiencing seizures. Hours after her discharge, she was found blocks away in a puddle of water on the side of the road, having another seizure. A Good Samaritan discovered her and provided assistance until emergency medical services arrived. Hours later, Quae learned about the incident and reported the hospital. Later that day, his wife had another seizure and was discharged after they discovered that the husband had filed a report against the hospital. Hospital staff called security on the husband after he confronted them for refusing to care for her while she was having seizures. Security personnel escorted the husband and his wife from the room while having seizures. That is when the husband contacted the Overland Park Police Department. Upon their arrival, they witnessed the incident as Quae was providing aid to his wife. Police informed them that they had to take action, prompting the emergency room staff to intervene.
