I have only attended one of President Trump's Rallies. It was in Baton Rouge, La, early in his first Campaign. I really didn't know much about him, never followed his TV show or appearances. My son and grandson decided to come too. Our first impression was how well it was organized. Within minutes from leaving the Bridge, we were in a Parking Garage. And then, the people - no arguments, no drama, no line cutting. The line moved quickly as the entire event was well staffed. We ended up at the top of the large building - two rows from the ceiling. The huge building was filled to the top with a big crowd outside. There were campaign posters on every seat and again, no drama, just friendly people meeting other friendly strangers. President Trump spoke to the crowd as he usually does, explaining what he wanted to accomplish. (And continues to accomplish.) When it was over, the Police and staff were still on duty as we all went our cars. I learned that day that this is a man who takes care of the details and is considerate of the crowds. Many years before I brought my young sons to a Clinton campaign event in our town. It was a mess. Clinton was late arriving, spoke what we then accepted as Political word salad and made promises he never kept. When it was over the Secret Service would not let us leave because Clinton dawdled, uncaring about the inconvenience to his potential voters. Maybe this was why I was so impressed at the Trump Rally. In any case I bought hats and convinced as many relatives and friends as I could. And I still do. Now it is time to Vote in this crucial Mid-Term Election. I am on the Democrat Socialist hit list because I bought hats. So please vote for Republicans. I won't do well in the Gulag.
