Office workers and professionals get guaranteed flexibility. Nurses, tradies, retail and hospitality workers get nothing, because the nature of their work never changed. Small businesses get the legal headaches. Essential services get the staffing pressure. Don’t legislate square pegs into round holes from Spring Street. Let employers and employees negotiate what actually works, not a one-size-fits-all policy that maybe fits one in three jobs and ignores the rest.
