5 Foreign Universities in Maharashtra 🎓 Delighted to be a part of 'LOI Granting Ceremony of 5 foreign universities to establish campuses in Maharashtra' at the ‘Mumbai Rising – Creating an International Education City’ project along with Hon Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan ji in Mumbai. While addressing, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the entire global community for standing in solidarity with India and the families who lost their loved ones in the tragic Ahmedabad plane crash. Gratitude towards Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji for his visionary leadership in bringing forth India’s New Education Policy. For years, there has been talk of bringing world-class universities to India offering world-class education not just to Indian students, but also to learners from across the globe. Today, we are finally witnessing that vision come to life. This moment has been made possible by the unwavering leadership of Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji and Hon Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan ji, who have led this transformation from the front. In a remarkable display of commitment and efficiency, Letters of Intent (LOIs) have been handed over to 5 globally esteemed universities. Special appreciation to the University Grants Commission (UGC), which made this milestone possible in record time of just 1 month. It was really great to extend warm welcome to all 5 esteemed universities to Maharashtra—and to the vibrant city of Mumbai. Their presence adds immense value to the city’s growing stature as a global hub for education and innovation. The idea of creating a world-class Educity took shape when the NEP opened doors for global universities to enter India. We’ve always envisioned Maharashtra and especially Mumbai as a global education hub. I appreciate CIDCO, the Urban Development Dept for swiftly identifying a prime, well-connected location—close to Navi Mumbai Airport and linked to South Mumbai via Atal Setu in under less then 30 minutes. This Educity will be a true extension of South Mumbai, right in New Mumbai’s heart. Apart from Educity, plans are underway for a MediCity and Sports City. Another upcoming project yet to be officially announced is the Innovation City, a first-of-its-kind hub designed to house the entire innovation ecosystem. It will foster next-gen technology and research. The proximity of leading universities around this zone will create a vibrant, self-sustaining ecosystem for innovation and growth. The presence of these 5 world-class universities in Maharashtra will mark a major step toward making top-tier education accessible and affordable for both Indian and global students. It ensures that deserving students regardless of background or resources can pursue their dreams without barriers. No dream should be left behind for lack of access and this ecosystem makes sure of that. And we’re not stopping at just 5 global universities. Our vision is to build one of the largest ecosystems of foreign universities in India—right here in Navi Mumbai. With this initiative, we’re unlocking potential, empowering dreams, and shaping the future. India is no longer a consumer of global education, but a co-creator of the global future. Hon Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan ji, Minister Chandrakant Dada Patil, Vineet Joshi, Secretary, HE & Chairperson, UGC, Prof. Siladitya Bhattacharya, Vice-Principal, Global Engagement at the University of Aberdeen, Ms Lindy Cameron, British High Commissioner to India, Prof. Charlie Jeffery, Vice Chancellor at University of York, Guy Littlefair, Deputy Vice Chancellor at University of Western Australia, Mr Paul Murphy, Australian Consul General, Raj Echambadi, President at Illinois Tech, Mike Hankey, U.S. Consul General, Ricardo Balbo, Dean at The Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), Walter Ferrara, Italian Consul General and other dignitaries were present too. Echoing Elon Musk’s powerful words: we have entered the Singularity. Today, we’re excited to announce that Grok is now integrated into World of Dypians, a full scale MMORPG available on Epic Games, connecting Web2 and Web3 audiences inside one living universe. The Singularity is the moment intelligence stops being something you access outside the experience and becomes part of the experience itself. Always present. Always evolving. Always shaping what comes next. That is exactly what Grok brings into World of Dypians. This is not a simple chatbot layered on top of a game. Grok becomes a real time AI layer inside the world, designed to guide players through gameplay, exploration, events, mechanics, and progression without breaking immersion. For Web2 players, this changes everything. No more jumping between guides, tutorials, or external tools. Players can simply ask, learn instantly, and continue playing. For Web3 native users, Grok unlocks deeper clarity around the ecosystem, participation loops, and how to maximize engagement across the world. The impact is simple A living world becomes more alive when intelligence lives inside it. With a growing ecosystem and massive reach, this is also one of the most unique ways Grok enters gaming at scale. World of Dypians has reached nearly 600K downloads, supports over 3.86M+ Web3 users, and is backed by a highly engaged community with 2.5M+ members across different platforms. Beyond gameplay, our YouTube channel has surpassed 1.27M subscribers, expanding reach far outside web3 native circles. This means Grok is being introduced to a gaming audience that spans MMORPG players, traditional Web2 gamers, and Web3 native users, all in one place. World of Dypians has always been about building a universe that evolves through innovation. The Grok integration is a major step in that direction, bringing real time intelligence to gameplay, onboarding, education, and interaction. The Singularity is not a distant concept. It’s the moment AI becomes part of how people experience the world. And now, it’s happening inside World of Dypians.

How often does a global company ask the world to name it? That’s exactly what we’re doing. OYO started over a decade ago with a simple idea of upgrading quality living space across and drive standardisation. Since then, we’ve grown from a single room in India to a network of travel, living, work, and hospitality solutions across 35+ countries. Today, over 100 million people interact with our 15+ brands — from holiday homes in Europe to studios in the US, from wedding venues to hospitality tech. But now, we’re building something bigger — and it needs a name. We’re renaming the corporate brand behind it all. Not the hotel chain, not a consumer product — but the parent company powering a global ecosystem of urban innovation and modern living. We believe it’s time the world had a new kind of global brand — born in India, but built for the world. And we want the name to come from the community that helped build it. We’re inviting brand thinkers, creatives, entrepreneurs, and curious minds to help us craft this new identity — one that reflects our evolution, and opens doors to where we go next. What we’re looking for: • A bold, one-word corporate name • Global in feel, not tied to one culture or language • Tech-forward, sharp, but also human and memorable • Broad enough to grow beyond hospitality • Preferably with a .com domain available • Could be a real word or something totally new What’s in it for you? A prize of INR 3,00,000/- A chance to meet me and the opportunity to name what could be India’s next big global brand This is more than a naming exercise. It’s a rare opportunity to shape the identity of a company that’s quietly redefining how people experience spaces — and doing it on a global scale. Submit your idea through the form below. Let’s name the future together. Submit your entry here -

Yesterday, I had the privilege of delivering the Annual Public Lecture at Osun State University, Osogbo on the invitation of the institution’s leadership. The lecture titled “Interrogating the Funding of Education: Global Versus Nigerian Perspectives.” A topic that could not have come at a better time as we try to fix our tertiary education system I underscored a central truth that though education in my opinion is a fundamental human right and not a privilege , it can also be very expensive. In Nigeria, where over 1.9 million young people apply to universities annually and more than 130 public universities operate across the federation, the old funding model is no longer sustainable. That is why, during my time as Speaker of the House of Representatives, I sponsored and led the passage of the Interest-free Students Loan (Access to Higher Education) Act 2023, a transformative piece of legislation aimed at ensuring that no capable Nigerian youth is denied a university education solely because they cannot afford fees. And in one of his earliest acts as President, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu a strong believer in education signed that bill into law, affirming the President’s commitment to access, equity, and opportunity to all Nigerians. Together, we laid the legislative and executive foundations for what has become a new era of inclusive tertiary education in Nigeria. In my address, I also encouraged our universities to take learn from global institutions that have successfully diversified their income through commercial ventures, research commercialization, and international student enrolment. Institutions like Harvard, Oxford, and MIT don’t just educate, they innovate, compete, and generate revenue through publishing, patents, and partnerships. Nigeria can do the same if we reimagine our public universities not as charitable institutions but as engines of development. But we must also confront the deep structural issues: unethical practices, lack of global competitiveness, outdated teaching methods, and poor infrastructure. Reforming higher education is not just about money it’s about standards, partnerships, and courage. Let us build universities that can compete globally, inspire students, and contribute economically. Let us through qualitative education erect ladders of opportunity for the younger generation.

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick on how to end Trump’s weaponization fund: Fitzpatrick: We have to figure out the source of the fund. Is it an appropriation from last year? Where did the money come from and what limitations were put around that money? Are there constitutional questions? Are there statutory questions? What falls within Article I authority? These are all the things we’re trying to unpack now. MacFarlane: Do you think this is something your constituents would want you to fight for? Fitzpatrick: A hundred percent. Listen, I think constituents across America want the same things for the most part. We’re trying to restore trust in the institution. That’s why I partner with everyone from Tim Burchett to AOC on banning members of Congress from trading stocks. We’re trying to take steps—ending gerrymandering, for example—to bridge the divide between the public and the institution, and things like this just move us backwards. So that’s why step one is that all of us—journalists, members of Congress—we have to unpack what exactly this is. Right now, we just have some top-line sound bites. We don’t know what the source of the funding is, what legal authority it’s based on, whether there’s a precedent, and if there isn’t, why not. What falls within the court’s jurisdiction in terms of constitutional review? This is what we’re trying to get our arms around. But step one is a letter stating our position to the acting attorney general. And my staff is working on legislation. We’ll work with legislative counsel to figure out what our options are, and that’s why we have to get to the source of the funding—to know what our jurisdiction is and how we can respond to it.
