I’m a Boomer and my parents took me to another family’s house to play with their kids because they had measles so we could get them too.

I was 3 when I had measles. I am in my 60s now. I clearly remember the measles. My mom put me in jammies, made a bed for me on the living room sofa, closed the front drapes so my eyes wouldn't be bothered, fed me chicken soup, toast, and orange juice. All better in a few days.

I got the chicken pox young. Apparently, I went to one of those parties. I don't remember it because I was younger than 5. This was in the 80s
