They can use mods or play in unofficial roleplay servers like FiveM. But on Playstation and Xbox, you're locked into official servers where the only way up is to grind or pay. Rockstar is delaying the PC release to protect the launch economy of GTA Online 2.0 They're forcing the entire player base onto consoles for the first 12-18 months, and trapping their biggest whales in a closed ecosystem where microtransactions can't be bypassed. It guarantees them the maximum bag during the peak hype window. Plus, Rockstar acquired FiveM team back in 2023. The delay buys them time to figure out how to officially monetize the PC modding scene before they open the floodgates. To give you a perspective on how advanced the NPC interaction system in GTA VI is going to be, here's a direct comparison between GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 In GTA V, the only option is to greet or insult NPCs depending on the character that you're playing as, in this case here Trevor will insult them. Fable is coming back tonight!! I'm going to use it to build our GTA 6 before GTA 6. For people who is watching the video (Turn the volume up). Day 20 of building our own community GTA 6 with a loop of AI agents. it's also got a real intro now with original music. big shoutout to ROBTX who made the intro track, it's feel so good. Today's progress: - shooting is in and feels smooth now. - proper intro screen with custom music. Next I'm going to keep looping and make all performance settings adjustable so it's playable. Then first early testing is on the way! I miss Fable so bad i'm not sleeping tonight.

One of the Grand Theft Auto V downsides was that it didn't match GTA IV in terms of euphoria ragdoll physics, in this example here you can see how easily the NPCs die when you shoot them on the foot. Part of the reason why I believe the euphoria engine was downgraded was due to the scale of GTA V and that it was designed for PS3/Xbox 360 consoles. Fast Forward a generation later, Red Dead Redemption 2 is much better compared to this, but I still prefer the one in Grand Theft Auto IV. When GTA VI comes out, perhaps we will see a more improved version of euphoria ragdoll physics which will be a mix of both GTA IV style ragdolls and Red Dead Redemption 2.
