What part of raising class sizes supports students? My kids are in grade seven classes of 34!!! How does that support teachers, or parents who need to pick up the slack tutoring at home as they can't get 1-on-1 in the classroom? Also, no $750 for 9-12 teachers. Nothing. Shame!

Can you clarify how increasing class sizes, eliminating staff, cutting language and literacy programs and silencing trustees support students, parents or teachers?

I am an educator and I have never once said to refocus the education sector. I have said to fund education properly on many occasions, but that has obviously fallen on deaf ears. Stop gaslighting teachers and parents and fund education properly.

School starts on Sept. 8. The $750 "expense card" for only homeroom teachers won't be ready. @PaulCalandra expects teachers to fund the opening of their classrooms with their own money. Nothing has changed. Ts who teach music, phys ed, french, health & drama will receive nothing

No you aren’t. We’ve lost EAs and Teachers. Schools are seeing reductions in administrators. The system is stressed with lack of supports compromising student and staff safety. You have no idea!

Refocusing for what? To cut money. Ontarians are waking up, Calandra, and seeing you for what are are!

To support college and university students to graduate with massive debt. Punishing the poor to keep them there? Meanwhile, in Germany and elsewhere, college and university is basically free.

Really get involved and ensure all kids can learn with support for students with needs, clear province wide behavior expectations, and policies that reinforce attendance, behavior and accountability. Stop pushing kids that aren't ready academically to the next grade.

You are a liar! I know of a nonverbal child in grade 2 who spends his days in a sensory room because he disrupts the classroom. Which BTW removes the only EA from the classroom. The other students don't have the extra support they need because the EA is in the sensory room.

Your dishonesty is sickening. Here's what the people of Ontario want - for the provincial government to stop giving away our tax dollars to PC cronies and family members. To PROPERLY fund education, healthcare, social services. To ACTUALLY DO something about housing. Sit down.
