Finally, some sanity in food policy. The Improving Science in Chemical Assessments Act (H.R. 123) proves what we’ve known for decades: bureaucrats let chemical giants hijack safety reviews. RFK Jr. forcing Big Food to ditch petroleum-based dyes in 2 years instead of 2029? A win against the $3B synthetic color cartel that’s poisoned kids for profit. These dyes aren’t just in Froot Loops – they’re in 90% of processed foods, linked to ADHD spikes and cancer risks. Yet the same companies already use natural dyes in Europe. Classic D.C. double standards. The FDA’s Red No. 3 ban by 2027 is 40 years late, but at least the MAHA initiative’s exposing how lobbyists turned our food supply into a chemistry experiment.

Mr. Secretary, I feel a glimmer of hope with you and President Trump at the helm, but let's be real—public trust was obliterated during COVID. It’s going to take a hell of a lot more than phasing out food dyes to earn it back. I’m sorry, but I still don’t trust the CDC, the FDA, or any of those health organizations. Doctors? Forget it. We need to look at the chemical preservatives next. Artificial dyes are bad, but they only represent a fraction of the poison that's being presented to us as food. Calcium propionate, TBHQ, sodium benzoate, etc. It's all toxic, and it's all gotta go.
