We're rolling out new features to help you create longer, more coherent tracks. First, extensions now use a context-window of up to two minutes, increased from 30 seconds. This means verse and chorus structures are more consistent. Check out the example below! (h/t user DrGoldenPants)

Next, you can now extend tracks up to a maximum of 15 minutes. This is ideal for creating longer mixes, ambient tracks, or prog-rock epics.

Longer tracks mean more extensions, so we're also launching our first version of tree-based track history to help you stay organized. You can now see parent tracks and their children in either the track dropdown or the 'My Creations' page.

Finally, we recently added the ability to select a section of your track to trim before you perform an extension. This means you can easily extend from any section of a track or remove sections from the beginning that you do not like. Stay tuned for more updates very soon 😉

Can you share info on your training data, and whether it contains copyrighted music? I think for a lot of people this is more important than new features.

these are awesome and immediately useful! 👏👏👏 a feature I've been dying to get: merge two tracks with a bridge for obvious reasons, when extending a track, it's very hard to modify the track into something drastically different. the model ignores my pleas to append a soft piano instrumental outro to the dubstep intro. the existing segment weighs too hard on the model and there's obviously very few intra-song transformations in the training set. you could retrain the model to allow this, but perhaps a cheap hack would be to let me create two very different tracks and then let me "fill in the space" between them with the model.
