Michael Byrd, who failed an FBI background check, yfired without warning from a hidden position through a window that Ashli stood up in front of, and had punched an agitator, Zackary Alam in the face who had be trying to break it. This patriot always carried a small pocket knife fhat the rabid left screams "She had a knife!" She posed no threat, to anyone and had police that she saved from being shot. Michael Byrd had numerous firearm violations uncluding leaving his gun in a bathroom. His identity was hidden for months after the killing. The Capitol police investigated themselves and found themselves innocent. "Lt. Byrd later confessed that he shot Ashli before seeing her hands or assessing her intentions or even identifying her as female," t Michael Byrd was rewarded promoted and honoeed.
